【A new work from the author of 'Kill the Sun'!】

Kyle broke free.

Sadly, punching the leader of a gang of thugs had consequences, and the leader's cronies would beat Kyle to death.

But so what?! He didn't regret punching this guy even once!

However, a powerful Magic Lady saved Kyle and then did something strange.

She offered him a job.

Apparently, he would have to go to a different world, a brutal realm where strength was the only law, and become its Overseer.

A world where one person could fight thousands of people.

A world where gigantic beasts broke mountains.

And Kyle?

He was just some random guy. He couldn't break mountains. Hell, he could barely fight a single guy, but what was he supposed to do? Reject the offer and get killed?

Whether he liked it or not, he had to grow stronger, and while the beginning was tough, he actually found something he really enjoyed.

His gigantic hammer.

It was exhilarating when beasts exploded into chunks of flesh whenever he struck them. He loved turning boulders into rubble.

And soon, he would be known by the entire world.

With his hammer in hand, Kyle would forge a path of destruction through beast hordes, arrogant nobles, and ancient gods who dare stand in his way.

The novel is great. The MC is a histrionic psychopath who has no respect for others and only wants attention to himself and regularly throws fits which endanger his life. He has no impulse control. He doesn't listen to people who know more than him. He is incapable of having a relationship due to his narcissistic tendencies. He is a hypocrite and doesn't realise it. İt is rare to see an MC which corresponds to personalities from the real world.

The world building is nice as the plot follows a typical action adventure route.

The side characters are cool too and there is lots of gore.

No stupid fan service and no stupid clichés and no stupid harems like the arrogant young master etc.

    All in all it's peak.

I don’t think bro knows what a histrionic psychopath is. Kyle is a sociopath with a weird sense of humor who doesn’t even realize he’s a sociopath. The result of this unique blend of characteristics is a pitiless man who only acts with empathy because of the lessons he learned in couples counseling rather than any personal emotional compulsion to do so.

Sounds way too violent and gory. We much rather read fluffy stuff like kill the sun and sword god.

They are set in the same universe. Lightning is the only Way describes how it all works, and Sword God’s epilogue does as well.

Warmaisach’s Works — A Scrollbound Chronicle of Defiance and Depth
Many wander the path of progression fantasy, but few dare to walk barefoot over the thunder-scorched tiles that Warmaisach has laid.

I, InkDrunk Wanderer of the Enchanted Lotus Pavilion, have perused all four of his sacred tomes—"Lightning Is the Only Way", "Sword God in a World of Magic", "Kill the Sun", and the delightfully ridiculous-yet-sincere "Strongest Hammer God"—and I say this not as a sycophant, but as one whose wine cup ran dry mid-chapter: These tales possess soul.

Lightning Is the Only Way follows Gravis, a man chained by heavenly law and divine decree. What begins as mere cultivation becomes a war against gods themselves. Strength not for face-slapping, but for freedom—and that, my friends, is rare ink indeed.

Sword God in a World of Magic pits blade against spell. The world calls him mad for drawing steel in a land ruled by arcana. He answers with cut and clarity. A tale of grit, of walking alone without compromise—a Daoist's delight.

Kill the Sun… ah, the darkest brew in the gourd. No memory, no mercy. A shattered world crawling with beasts, and a boy clinging to meaning in the ruins. This is no mere cultivation journey—it is a meditation on morality, choice, and shadow.

Strongest Hammer God—yes, the name sounds like a street vendor's last-minute scroll, but do not be fooled. Beneath its absurd title lies a thunderous rise that strikes the anvil of entertainment with surprising grace. Power, pacing, and character—tempered well.

Warmaisach does not just craft protagonists—he breaks them, reforges them, and lets you bleed beside them. Each arc is a crucible of will, not just a staircase of stats. His works burn with philosophy, emotion, and a strange, addictive clarity that clings to your mind like incense smoke in a scholar’s study.

TLDR: If you seek more than cultivation fluff—if you desire storms that shape the soul, not just scorch the sky—read Warmaisach. His stories are storms that whisper long after the scroll is rolled shut.

Ah, such suspicion! Nay, friend, these are the ramblings of a mortal with ink-stained fingers and too little sleep. If it reads too smooth, perhaps the wind simply favored my brush this time.

I would have believed you if your recent comments weren't about Korean novels. Korean novels are the bottom, and you broke it, what kind of taste can we talk about here?

Ah, taste. That elusive thing people mistake for a throne from which they pass judgments. If Korean novels are the bottom, then it says quite a lot about how deep I’m willing to dive for gems—...... :)
We read for different reasons, clearly. But I assure you: literature doesn’t require a permission to be meaningful.
