Chapter 970: Take the Plunge

"I know all the Elemental Level One, Level Two, and Level Three Laws," Kyle suddenly said, pulling the watchers out of their thoughts and claiming their attention.

"I only know three of the Level Four Laws. As a Spirit Lord, I can comprehend the remaining Elemental Level Four Laws, even though I have no Affinity for them. As an Ascendant, I can comprehend the Level Five Laws."

"I don't need Level Six Laws. I don't need Level Seven Laws."

"As long as I have access to Level Four and Level Five Laws..."

"I can become Immortal and fight the true enemy."

"Combine the Essences of one Element up to Level Five. That makes a Level 5.5 Law. Combine it with a Major Law of Aspect, and you have a Level Six Law. Do that with four Elements, and you can become a Four-Infused Ascendant. Combine the remaining 20 Essences, and you have a Level Seven Law. If I combine that with my Imposing Law, I'm sure I will have a Level Eight Law."

"All requirements are fulfilled. I can fuse my Aspects easily. I can create an Avatar easily, which will turn me into a Fulfilled Ascendant. The true enemy has never been a Unique Ascendant because, in the history of the entire Supreme World, there was only one single person who had ever become a Unique Ascendant."

"The true enemy has the advantage of time. They had all the time to comprehend Laws. Their powers are substantial."

"But this is a battle, and there are variables. I will not stop growing. With the right resources, I can be just as outstanding in the Domain Realm as I am in the Wisdom Fire Realm. The enemy has many advantages, but I have just as many."

"I can win."

Kyle looked at Overlord Stygian.

"But I need help to win."

The onlookers were silent. They weren't even talking to each other via voice transmissions. Kyle's speech was not motivational. It did not speak of a cause or a dream.

He had simply laid out a plan, and most of all, the plan was realistic and could be implemented.

"How?" Overlord Cloudhorn asked, his voice cutting through the silence. "The enemy can see everything. How can you grow in secret? How can you protect yourself during your preparation?"

Overlord Cloudhorn had made the first step. The way he had spoken and how he had openly talked about the enemy's strength was akin to an admission of hopelessness. He had aired his doubts and fears.

"That is the most difficult part, but also not impossible," Kyle said. "I believe there's a way."

"We can't bet on belief," Overlord Cloudhorn said. "Countless lives are on the line. Stepping out of our cage will have devastating and lasting consequences."

"I don't bet on belief but on trust," Kyle said. "I can't think of a way to fool the enemy during the most critical moment, but I trust the person who said that we could. After all, he also found a way to fool Humanity."

Kyle looked at General Regalia.

"It was planned from the very beginning for you to compromise our means of communication. Our true means of communication has been established before the wisp communication."

Almost all of the onlookers didn't know what Kyle was talking about. The only three who knew what he meant were General Regalia, Protector Ziccan, and Overlord Cloudhorn.

General Regalia's eyes narrowed. She had paid close attention to all of them, but she had seen no signs of this secret communication method.

"You have vastly more resources. You are far more powerful. You have more experience and knowledge than all of us combined. In front of us, you are like the true enemy of Humanity. With our insignificant power, we can't possibly keep something secret from you," Kyle said.

"And yet, we did."

The other onlookers were looking at General Regalia. If this were true, this would be a big thing. Having the power to defeat the Overseer was important, but they also needed to get to that point. If these six Sages actually managed to fool one of the most outstanding Generals, they might also have the power to fool the Overseer.

"I require proof," General Regalia said.

"Sure," Kyle said as he teleported into the distance a couple of times. His Energy Sense couldn't reach the others anymore.

"Test our communication," Kyle said to the empty air in front of him. "I'm sure you can find a way."

Kyle waited a short moment before drawing a complex symbol in the air.

A moment later, he drew another complex symbol.

And another one.

In the end, he drew six complex symbols.

Finally, he felt space warping around him. He didn't resist as someone else teleported him back to the arena.

When he saw General Regalia again, he noticed that her expression had become disbelieving and shocked.

Just now, General Regalia had sent images of complex symbols to all of Kyle's friends, and Kyle had replicated these images. At the same time, she had also sent complex images to Kyle, which he had transmitted to the others, who had also replicated them.

General Regalia's mind had been thrown into chaos. She tried to find a way to replicate this secret way of communicating, but she simply couldn't.

There were no Formation Arrays.

There were no Energy waves, reminiscent of voice transmissions.

There were no wisps.

Overlord Stygian also confirmed that there was no manipulation in the Karmic Lines.

In fact, no one present could decipher or even sense these communications.

"How?" she asked after several seconds.

"I can't tell you," Kyle answered.

"You ask for our trust but are not willing to extend the same trust towards us?" General Regalia asked with narrowed eyes.

"Because you have not given your trust yet," Kyle said. "We have said that we would establish a different means of communication. We have not lied. You have dedicated around 15,000 years of effort and resources to crack our private means of communication. I have openly shared the existence of our secret way of communicating, but you have not even admitted that you were listening to our wisp communication."

"You are not in the position to ask for trust before giving it. We are. Let yourself fall and trust that we catch you."

General Regalia gritted her teeth.

She had already believed that the six of them could do the impossible and fix this world before the event even started, but now, she had to prove it and commit to it. If she committed to putting her trust into the group, there would be no way back. Either the world would change, or she would die.

Maybe even both.

However, the act she was deliberating was even more severe and serious than any person in Kyle's group had expected.

She looked at Kyle, who just looked back with a serious expression.

Countless images of what she had seen in the world shot through her mind.

She did not want this world to remain in this state.

She wanted it to be better.

She took the plunge.

"I swear, if anyone present, including myself and excluding the group of six Sages, attempts to share any sensitive information gained during this meeting with a Demon, I will immediately die."

Kyle's eyes widened.

The others looked at General Regalia in shock.

If there were even a single uncertain person in this group, General Regalia would die.

This oath had bound her life to the group's life. If any of the present members decided to betray the group, they would also doom General Regalia.

She had fully committed.

After swearing her oath, General Regalia looked at the others.

She had bet her life on the actions of the people around her without being able to exert any control over them. In essence, she had handed her life to almost every person around her.

This was how dedicated she was to Ayuvar.

This action would almost certainly cause her death, but if it could help the group of Sages just a tiny bit, it would be fine.

Even if her death just acted as a warning sign that someone had shared some of the secrets.

"I swear, if anyone present, including myself and excluding the group of six Sages, attempts to share any sensitive information gained during this meeting with a Demon, I will immediately die."

What if they share it with humans who then further share it though such a obvious loophole probably isn't it

Rough idea but can we use trancedents like that a warning signal have them swear some actually forget it that's not how it works right
