    I won't say much just that this novel right here has the potential to be somewhat on par with LOTM. Do try it.

    Seeing the upvotes and downvotes on my comment, I'm surprised. People reading Chinese WNs have become so used to them that all they want is a face slapping, handsome, talented and/or crippled and/or reincarnated, OP protagonist, with or without a system and definitely with a bevy of Jade Beauties following behind him. This novel has none of it, except the OP part. Its a bit closer to a general non-Chinese novel with a growing MC. Book 2 highlights the flaws in the MC's character, flaws which are there due to his upbringing BUT rather than appreciating a somewhat flawed and hence more humane MC, readers want their MC to be a 1D character with pride and arrogance necessary enough to trample the heavens beneath his feet...

    the only problem i have with this novel is consistency for the future, theres no doubt that this is one of the best novels i have read so far , however a lot and i mean a lottttt of novels drop in quality drastically towards the mid and end or give a rushed ending , or the authors just become moneygrubbers and just push chapters after chapters.
    so pls my dear author dont drop the quality and u will be able to leave ur mark in history along with great works like LOTM
