This novel was great right to the end. It prefers a focus on politics and thought rather than action or romantics.

It does have its shortcomings, but is overall a very pleasant read if you want a sensible story without so much needless conflict and antagonising. The author does an excellent job of expediting unimportant information that I have seldom seen done as well in lengthy stories.

The author's exploration of different power systems and methods to attain godhood is also particularly well thought out.

The Fantasy Simulator and the ability to gain powers from lived lives is an interesting concept, which, unfortunately, isn’t executed in the best way. The main character, although an adult who ended up in a teenager’s body and lived decades in the simulator, behaves like a naive teenager. His interactions with girls seem a bit unrealistic. 5/10. Suitable for those who are just starting to get acquainted with the world of fantasy and don’t expect deep character development from books

    World background 4.5/5
    Story development 4/5
    Character design 4/5
    Writing quality 4/5

    1) Rather than main storyline, the simulation or side stories that he experience using system, are what that i like the most. But if you see this collective side stories as whole than you will find some repetitive & bland plot.

    2) The ending was pretty good but also weird to me. Author has mention the place from where system was originated but he didn't explain how it came in its existence.

    3) The major spoiler that
was totally bullshit. Instead story taking place on earth I would rather like MC reincarnated into fantasy world and he use this simulator system to level up and become god or something. Therefore to me main storyline taking place on earth was quite boring compared to simulation stories.

    4) I don't like arc where MC decided to have system available to other people. It was totally 🤬.

    5) Side story at end novel were good
. But I also don't like how author had kept many loopholes unchecked such
    .

    6) Some really good powerful abilities such as fortune mark where forgotten by author as story progress forward, which really makes it annoying since MC had acquire this mark in simulation after putting so much work into it.

    7) According to me author had not fully utilize the potential, the System that he had introduced to his story in novel. If it were me i would have make MC simulate into different worlds, conquer them, rule them by having clone there, accumulate the knowledge & design perfect path for his ascension.

To me the biggest problem with the mc is there is no goal at all after the plot twist
the story is bland and became repetitive you don't even know why you should keep reading

I finished reading this book and I gotta say, I wasn't disappointed. I've put off reading this book since it wasn't finished yet. When I was done with my other book and noticed that Fantasy Simulator was finally fully translated, I decided to give it a try. I really liked the "side stories" or so called "simulations" in this novel. You'd think that they are only useful to make the MC stronger but, they were way more useful, be it the characters or the knowledge etc...

I personally liked the World Building, I found that it was good, not too great and not bad at all. In terms of plot, it was also pretty good. Overall, I think I'd give this novel the rating of 4/5, not more because the ending is an "open ending" where there isn't a clear end yet the side stories right after reminded me why I liked this novel.

The side stories after the end of the plot were really what made the novel keep it's grade of 4/5 despite the open ending. In the end, I'd recommend others to read this novel, it was pretty great if you ask me! kef

I got to chapter 244 and couldn't continue. At the start it was alright and had enough descriptiveness but as it progress the novel gets worse.

The way the author writes is very boring, rambling, and repetitive.. They avoid writing about action and cultivation if they can and instead prefer to write about politics and people's thoughts. Unsurprisingly people tend to think about the same things that happened in past chapters so the author just keeps writing what happened over and over. Even if they don't think about it the author will figure out a way to repeat information 3,4,5,6,7 times.
The author also rambles way too much and will use way too many sentences to say the same thing as if they were trying to increase the word count on a school essay.
"This guy was powerful, he was powerful because x, because he was powerful the MC feels at ease, with him around the MC would not have any trouble, his power came from x, others could sense his power came from x, others felt fearful because of his x power, but this power was what made him a strong bodyguard for the MC."

If you want to know anything about the MCs cultivation techniques or fighting style you will get crumbs of information at best. Most cultivation levels are simply names with the basic "people are more powerful in this realm" and maybe a tiny description
    .
In the most recent chapters the author never mentioned how or when the MC cultivated, they simply reached higher levels with no specific realm. Then the MC fights some guys and all he does is slap out. How boring. Then the rest of the chapter is just "side character thinks this" 100 times and politics. It is mind numbingly bad.

If you want to see more of what's specifically wrong with this novel you should scroll down to MoonshineOmega's review.

Now I'm already at Chapter 229, and I just realized what you said is true. The sentences keep repeating, and the author doesn’t even mention his cultivation level. Before, they said his body talent was mediocre, but after 30 years or something, there's no mention of what level he actually reached or how he gained his strength. In my opinion, those little details are what keep us engaged in reading. Now that I think about what you said, I just feel like dropping this novel—I don’t want to waste my time on something like this. IMO, the novel was good from Chapter 1 until the Sorcerer Arc (Ed Doyle), but after that, the quality dropped.

    It’s Amazing.

I’ve never felt inclined to write a review before. But as of chapter 37, this novel has been amazing.

The author doesn’t just say some shit like: “A malicious light could be seen in his eyes” “His eyes showed a vicious glint””He was cold hearted” etc.

These statements rather ”tells” a character’s personality than it shows.

But the author nails the show part in this book. You can actually feel that Chen Heng is scheming, a genius, opportunistic and so on. The author never directly says that he is a genius, cunning etc.

Though he does keep saying he’s handsome.

I don’t know how to write good reviews and am lazy to improve on doing so.
    Anyway for now 10/10.
