It feels like reading a dairy book 😭, not that it's bad. I'm just not used to it.

Incredible book tbh, the first few books are published and have a few illustrations so would recommend going to support the author there. Pretty sure it's his first series which is pretty incredible.

I enjoyed a lot about this story tbh. Pretty unique Worldbuilding filled with colourful and complex characters. Relationships are done masterfully, nothing seems out of place, and characters grow organically. I'd say a good amount of chapters give slice of life vibes and it's interspersed with little bonus chapters following one specific characters day which r quite funny/cute.

Worldbuilding is also good as we learn more at a slow pace about a world which makes sense and presents challenges for the MC and gang.

My only complaint would be that it sometimes has a slow pace of follows side characters for a long time. This could just be me being impatient though.

Overall rating in my opinion 8.5/10. Defo worth a read.

This is the first time I see a cultivator that actually cultivates.

At the present, the book is no longer just a slice-of-life story, and that's alright. Stories are meant to grow, just like the characters themselves. The plot is written by the author until the plot begins to write itself. If you came for the farm-life and don't wanna stay for the cultivator business, that's fine too. Fa Ram will always be waiting for your return.

Please add BOC Alternate Universe: Soaring Heaven's Isle by Casualfarmer. This is basically a spin off of the original novel set in an all female sect but the world-building is just as rich and immersive and it has new and interesting characters.

This novel radiates Big D energy, and I like it.
