They were getting closer, Sunny could feel it.

Weaver's lineage stirred within him, sensing another of his your part . That's when his instinct alerted him, and he ducked quickly.

A sword slash passed over his head, before he could turn to face the new enemy. Nephis was already attacking him. Sunny decided to wait and see his movements while instructing Saint to help Nephis.

He was a knight; his armor was extremely similar to that of the Stone Saints. After a series of exchanges of blows between Nephis, Saint, and the knight, Sunny entered the battle.

In the darkness of the hall where they were, it was difficult to see the knight's movements, even with Nephis's flames. His black armor, which seemed to absorb light, managed to camouflage itself perfectly.

Then there was a stalemate. The knight moved again, but this time his movements were different from the previous ones. Saint was attacking him, and when Nephis and Sunny were about to return to the fight, they froze.

Sunny couldn't use her shadow sense to perceive her enemy. But he didn't need to; his enemy's movements were as clear as day to him. It was something he knew well, something ingrained in his body and subconscious. But there was someone who knew those movements better than him; that someone was Nephis.

After all, she was the one who taught him during his journey on the forgotten coast. He had seen her perform those movements dozens, hundreds, thousands of times.

That's when he heard her murmur softly, "Father."

The fact that there was a cursed creature only on the outskirts of the underworld implies they will probably meet a unholy or atleast a cursed terror by the end of this campaign

I don't know, but for me, these last two chapters were way better than the previous ones. On top of showing more of the story, I could genuinely visualize the scenes. Plus, we got the underworld creatures, and finally a real threat instead of a summary. I wish we had more content about the nightmare creatures and their lore, it's such a cool part!(I use Translator)

For me, the previous chapters were kind of (it's hard to explain, it's as if, despite experiencing what happened, Sunphis was somewhat disconnected from the story) I would describe it as faded.

eu tinha que dizer, I want to share a random fact I discovered, nothing to do with Shadow Slave, but it has to do with certain Korean romance novels, those where the protagonist enters the game. You know those well-structured games with unique battle systems, a story for each playable character, each with their own backstory and ending (which isn't necessarily the true villain of the story)? I always thought those games were invented by Korean novelists, made to give structure and cohesion to the stories they were writing. Surprisingly, I got a game like that (not exactly the same, but it follows a similar structure) and I wanted to discuss it with someone (someone who might read those novels).
