    How disappointing. What a shallow revenge. Could have at least had the song family actually harm the mc in the past 40 years, but instead they did nothing to the mc and now author has to make bs justifications and excuses for mc's murder and hypocrisy.

      Idk where you see the hypocrisy. This villain killed 10 villagers, and who knows how much other commoners suffered under him for decades.
      He and his entire family tree deserves complete extermination.

      All such novels are based on certain time period and back then people did genuinely think the way mc does (not many had abl to follow through though), so no hypocrisy detected.

        I am not judging mc based on his society but on his actions. He condemned song Jimin for being willing to kill for his survival but he killed even the servants, children, and in laws for his revenge. That is textbook hypocrisy.
