    A quick review.

    This novel is quite fresh and interesting read. Definitely good to read book 1.
    Book 2 has few things in that I would not have used but still decent read. And Book 3 seems like a return to what book 1 was so it's nice.

    But book 4 now that seems like instant drop from what the story originally was into out standard trope of xianxia land. Not sure if worth it to read as it seems author focuses on any other character but MC and the slice of life farm it was about originally.

    Also going to comment here that if this book will not be Harem then author sucks. Why ? Because that Xiulan character was and has so far seemingly one purpose and that is to fall in love with MC and to deny her purpose would be bad faith from author.

    Anyhow. Definitely good read and fresh take on all cultivation up to the end of book 3.

      Well Book 4 is supposed to be a character development arc for the earth spirit, it shows us how she is repairing herself to protect the peace them have at the Fa-Ram and also it shows us how jins 2 halves fuse togather. Finally it's quite nice to see the story from others perspective as well and I myself enjoyed it quite a bit. And

        Good for you. I personally do not like when the story I read derails and is not about the MC nor the original premise. Sure I guess I am bit harsh in saying its derailed, but lets face it if side characters start getting more screen time than MC then is the book really the same as originally intended ?

        In the end it is what it is. And to each their own.

          Fellow reader, we r totally on same page, MC is barely getting any screen time on Book 2, 1 chap for mc and 5 each for every animals and his "Friends & their Families". I'm considering dropping it. But the reviews at the same time r mostly positive. . . *sigh* idk what to do

        literally synopsis, saying that MC is the transmigrator not some comedic relief beefed up chicken. Just because Author decided to go with whacky title to get people into clicking his novel does not mean that MC is not what the story says.

          Why does there have to be one main character that the entire story solely revolves around? In this case I think it's appropriate and a wise decision to deviate from the trappings of trite cultvation webnovels.

          One could easily say of the synopsis what you said of the title.

      Pardon me but can you tell me which chapter that is?? Cause I'm up to date but I don't see any cultivation lady kissing the villain, unless you mean Jins grandpa and the lady sect master which it explicitly states they have tussled in the bed many times before?

            Like one cant like the novel and still find flaws in it.

            This all or nothing mentality is slowly hurting our society. But enough of dark thoughts. Book 4 is a bore out of 27 chapter I think I counted only 4 with Jin. Talk about being an MC of the story. Lol

    This novel is a work of art. It's surprising how a novel about a cultivator-turned-farmer ended up with such a beautiful story. It's heartwarming, hilarious and has the right amount of action that doesn't diminish the 'slice of life'-ness. I love Jin and his family of humans and animals. I can't wait for the rest of the story. This is now my favorite cultivation novel (used to be Ze Tian Ji).

    I really like this novel, just that there are parts wherein its too mushy. Mc also is too soft, to kill and revenge which I get because he's a transmigrator, and he's personality just doensnt flip all of a sudden like other MCs.
