Shadow Slave by Guiltythree

A miserable mc who doesn't even look like a mc. What kind of trash novel is this and there are some glazers comparing this shit to LoTM and RI.

This novel has completely lost its shine.
The last time I truly enjoyed it was during the Tomb of Ariel arc—ah… a true masterpiece. Even the desperate struggle in Antarctica was thrilling, filled with horror and mystery. But now? That feeling is completely gone.

I miss the days when our MC was tortured—driven into despair, forced to fight for survival with everything he had.
Not this sudden nerfing.

“In one place, you can’t use your Shadow Sense.”
“In another, you can’t even summon your shadows.”
“And somewhere else, you can’t use your f*cking Supreme power at all.”

Ahhh… you’re too overpowered, so the rule here is that you can’t use any of your abilities.
It’s just pathetic.

Such a beautiful story

is now a good time to catch up? I was at chapter 2581. it was becoming quite a bit sluggish especially after the mirror world arc

Sorry for being out of topics but I literally don't know where else can I ask yo find this novel. The story is about an MC who is either coming from the future or that he is a transmigrating into a game. The mc have a sister who is destined to be a villain/monster of sort and hunted down, so he is trying protect her. The world is quite grim dark and the most important detail is that the way they calculate damage is by using DND esque system (in the beginning there's bread that got like 1d3 damage). The mc class is assassin or rogue.

Random plot points that I remember.
the sister have a split personality thing of some sort

a random tangent about paladin and how rich/noble women make a proof their charm by seducing paladins

priestesses of misfortune is very revered by everyone

pirate plots

bro used too much oils while cooking egg

the mc became part monster or something along the line

God dammit, I have been trying to read this novel for ages but couldn't, everytime I say to myself "read SS, its been sitting in the read later list since eons" I get distracted, long gone my glory days when I used to binge read lotm and RI.

Finally, G3 dropped 2 chapter after one month break.

Can't wait for it to be uploaded here....

I was thinking about how long this novel may continue ( out of boredom ) and my guess it won't be more than 1300 chaps that is 2 years at most 3 if he takes well deserved breaks ...
Cause we already have a hint as to what the ending arc will be (it's something related to FG )
