    By today’s standards this novel is cliche and repetitive.

    But this is OG. This novel has been running for over a decade and is truly a cultivation journey. Some arcs are good some are bad, but the journey is now complete and if you want something to burn time or occupy the area in between new chapters for other novels. This is a worthy read.

    4/5 for originality (at the time) and the fact that it finished.

    I loved this read at first, but the further you read the more evident Yang Kais wimpy and pathetic attitude becomes.

    He's willing to let people off, who plotted and tried to kill him, only for them to constantly keep coming and make even more problems for him later.

    Call me biased for my rating because this was one of my first 3-7 cultivation novel. But I can't lie, I loved this. So much so that read the mtl translated(or may be google translated chinese website), and I even forgot that the translation is not yet completed. And today, when I saw this on the recently updated, I was confused for a minute.

    But logically rating this by comparing it to some of the best novel out there, this would be 4.1/5 (Maybe it is still biased, but I need to read this again to be more rational. 5000+ chapters is too much for a re-read)
