    I'm eagerly waiting for a miracle to happen, and get this unbanned. Somehow want the author to come outside of china and release the book with a different name.
    Aa much as we enjoy this piece, the chinese haven't liked it that much. They still haven't figured out how good Gu Zhen is.

    But i'm much more sad because of our own fellow readers who criticize Gu Zhen for his latest book. You guys just tell me - if a book getting banned because of it's insane writing, do you think he can't right better than before. The only option is LIGHT genre.

    I tried to read this SLOP and i got to 300 chapters. I had to drop it because of how horrible it was. The mc is a horrible person and a giant edge lord who has little to no motivations for his actions. I would rather watch paint dry for 2 whole days than have to look at the title for under a minute. Thank GOD this BUM ASS novel was banned instead of something actually good like LOTM or Shadow Slave.

    I'm an avid reader of all kinds of cultivation novel, so obviously after hearing about Reverend Insanity and how great it was i had to take a look.... Well after 300 painful chapters, i'm dropping it. It's the first time it's happening to me, but i find the cultivation system atrocious, confusing and utterly uninteresting. Now every time "Gu" are mentioned in another novel i can't help but cringe hard and pray it's a short arc passing by.

    This novel is acclaimed by 99% of webnovel readers, and being pretty vanilla in my taste i usually agree with them in my reviews, but here i really don't understand....

    I'm not trying to hate on this novel, i'm just so disappointed in it after all the hype that i needed to vent, get it out of my system and never talk about this novel again.

      Thats unfortunate. I have read countless novels and RI just has that certain something that most if not all other novels just dont have. I have never felt the way I did reading RI, with any other novel.

      I feel like the author has a way with words that is unmatched.
      Burying so many profound insights in such a good story the way he did it is incredible.
      Reverend Insanity goes beyond the realm of novels and touches upon something more, you could also call it a philosophical scripture.

      I just want people to experience this masterpiece the same way that I did boast

          It’s one of those novels you have to grow with as the start and the current chapters are vastly different in quality which can turn off many readers who have read more quality works recently and may seem amateurish or not to their taste especially because Shadow Slave has more than 1000 chapters a lot of people are reading the novel over long periods of time and so is the author writing it improving over time guess that’s why 🤷

          Too much misery. Sunny’s life is one long torture session with just enough small wins to keep you hooked.

          Even when he actually wins, it’s either a pyrrhic victory or it gets instantly wiped out by a stronger enemy next. He keeps getting betrayed, tricked, or enslaved by the people around him, and somehow he’s still forced to work with them. There’s never any satisfying revenge or real clapback.

          I want to feel happy, excited, or at least entertained while reading in the little free time I have, not angry, disappointed, and frustrated after every chapter.

            возможно это смешно, но вот мне не смешно ни капли, поскольку большинства упомянутых вещей просто не существует в произведении. санни заводит множество ХОРОШИХ друзей и вся его история лишь воодушевляет


            или ты хочешь сказать, что ты находишься на стадии 1 чертовой арки и злишься на рабское клеймо, совершенно не желая разбираться, что зла ему не желали, но ты хочешь воспринимать ситуацию лишь с ЕГО личной чёртовой юношеской позиции, обиженной и преданной и ты отказываешься воспринимать общую картину?


            если это так, то я бы из вежливости поправил твое милое желание чувствовать себя счастливым, воодушевленным и развлеченным, потому что на самом деле ты ещё являешься простым, слабым потребителем, который способен потреблять только простые добрые истории с хорошим концом, где единственная трудность главного героя - трудности выбора двух принцесс среди трёх в свой гарем принцесс или что-то на том же уровне.

            ты просто не способен читать что-то более сложное - ты сам это написал в своем комментарии. главный герой столкнулся с предательством близкого человека, который на самом деле хотел лишь спасти и защитить своего единственного чертового друга? замечательный трогательный и интересный ход? нет. давай забудем про вторую часть слов и сосредоточимся на том, что нашего героя предали и что он обидился. к черту чувства "предателя" и то, как прекрасно раскроется ситуация в дальнейшем . давайте сосредоточимся на точке зрения героя и том, что он обидился. как назвать читателя, у которого в действительности возникают такие мысли во время чтения? мне вот ничего кроме грубых оскорблений на ум не приходит, прости. но виновата книга, безусловно. настоящая хорошая книга должно подходить большинству. и опустим тот факт, что к сожалению так называемое большинство - дегенеративные, ленивые создания, которые просто хотят отдохнуть и получить дозу дешёвого дофамина в свой уставший от работы мозг. у меня возникает вопрос, а будет ли достойным такое "чтение" быть названо "хобби"? мне кажется, проще уж тогда включить тикток и расслабиться, бро

    I'm sure if you ask three random webnovel readers, at least one will praise how good Reverend Insanity is. So if you’re here reading the reviews, it probably means you’re still on the fence despite the hype... or maybe you’re looking for a few bad takes to justify a downvote, lol. Either way, I’ll just share a bit of my experience.

    This book made me realize I’m not actually into an evil MC. I was fine with the cold pragmatism and scheming… right up until that scene with the girl and the bear (around chapter 150 I think). That moment felt deliberately over the line, clearly meant to cement just how far Fang Yuan would go. I respect the craft, and I’m sure the praise is well-earned, but that was my exit ramp. Since then, I’ve steered clear of “evil MC” tags. it’s simply not for me.

    Some people might call me weak or throw around all sorts of colorful names. Maybe they’re right, who knows. If you enjoy ruthless, consequence-first protagonists, you’ll probably see this as a masterpiece. But if you need a line the MC won’t cross, consider this your warning: this might be a hard stop for you too.

    This novel has some of the best writing for an antihero/evil protagonist and really showcases the weak to strong journey, using cunning and strategy to desperately fight against the plans of true powerhouses. I hope one day it gets the conclusion it deserves. People's ratings are subjective - here's mine: I think this novel will forever be a top 10 read of all time for me.
