    Hey, I’m still pretty new to Webnovels, and people keep recommending Reverend Insanity, Shadow Slave, and Lord of the Mysteries to me. I was actually planning to read RI first. Shadow Slave now has over 3,000 chapters, which is a lot to tackle right off the bat, and with Lord of the Mysteries, I often hear that the power system and world-building can be a bit complicated, especially for new readers. However, on TikTok, YouTube, and the like, I’ve almost exclusively come across clips and comments describing RI with things like “Peak Fiction because the MC commits mass murder” or “Peak Fiction because he lets a bear eat a girl.” Because of that, to be honest, I still don’t really know what the novel is actually about. I generally have no problem with an evil MC. I don’t need a typical hero who always does the right thing and wants to save everyone. But I also don’t automatically love a story just because the main character is as cruel as possible or kills everyone. That’s why I wanted to ask: What is Reverend Insanity actually about, and why is the novel so successful—or so good for so many people? What makes it special? And one more question: Since the novel was banned and could never be properly finished, is it even worth starting it? Or will you just end up feeling frustrated because the story is never concluded?
    This isn't meant to be a criticism; I just really want to understand why the novel is so highly praised by everyone and whether I should read it.

    Was reading a random novel. Compared the dumb decisions of that novel MC with FY. Dropped that novel. Came to RI page just to reminiscence.

    Author mentioned that its coming back in one of the chapters of his current novel. What I found in reddit, it will be a reboot and not continuation. And if author solely focus on Mysteries of Immortal Puppet Master. Then we will see the reboot after 3-4 years. Then another 3+ years to reach current chapters
