        pretty sure because it dives into controversial topics such as government related stuff and the CCP (Chinese communist party) didn't like that so they forced this novel to go into hiatus. I may be mistaken though, so take what I said with a grain of salt

      RI was great, but IMO Mysteries of Immortal Puppet Master is comparable, if not even better. Ning Zhuo isn't as ruthless and demonic as Fang Yuan, but the level of scheming and foreshadowing in the book is higher than RI, to the point that I actually get stressed just by reading it. Goes to show that Gu Zhen Ren really improved even after RI got banned (not counting the travesty that was Infinite Bloodcore).

    I have tried rereading this so many times, but I just can't. For some reason, I remember every single detail. This isn't a problem with most other novels since I forget in a week or two, but it has been 3 years and I still somehow recall everything. Maybe another year or two and I will forget.

        I'd say the lengendary mechanic is a close second, LOTM is good to but its not for everyone, and i'd also recommend Release that witch (while the tile sound like harem its really not, its more a kingdom building).
