So In my Opinion I would Enjoy this Novel If .... there was no Girls introduced in Mc's Journey in the first Place.. And if Mc was Slave to a High Powerfull God that would be cool for me. But i Don't like the concept of Becoming a slave of a Random Person Whoever can Say Your Name.. and Mainly The Third One If Mc was cold blooded, doesn't care about what happenes to others.. that would be a cool Anti Hero / Villain type Novel. I would enjoy it for sure If These 3 things Were changed somewhat..

Soulless and hopeless Review/Rant

2 for volume 2 and up(currently read to 188 chapters).

Caution!
MC will break his back and over for progress and power and he will only get a tiny bit of strength for it. On the other hand, the protagonist(who he is simping for- to the point that he actually thought to himself that she is his second Flaw-critical weakness) wants to destroy the world and the power system itself- by definition wanting to destroy all his hard work.

So if you want to see a struggling MC with little to none to show for his efforts(in comparison to the protag), then go ahead. You are free to read how MC stops any plans/alters plans and even thinks of excuses to go with her.
You know as long as she was actually worthy, I would still like her. But she isn't. Like all other Legacies(rich families that hide any and all other than the most basic information about the Nightmares from the public), she is a pompous b*tch. But she only hides it better.
At first, she acts cold(which we later learn is because she is socially awkward) and then she learns from MC how to be a calculating, conniving c*nt who never tells the whole truth. And why is that so appalling, you ask?
Well, you see, Sunny never had a choice. Not only before he became a Sleeper, but even after.
Because his Flaw is that bad It goes against everything that he is. And what Flaw does Miss Protagonist get? The only thing she gets is pain when she uses her powers(which can be learned overtime to not have that much effect on her and can and does temper her will). So he gets a catastrophe, and she gets a training tool.

Side characters- pretty good, 3d characters with (semi)valid reasons for doing things.

World building - not bad, with vivid pictures for imagination.

Combat system-rehash from ORV with a couple of sprinkles but with missing details and undefinitions(state of combat mastery only vaguely touched upon-or this is just because author is trying to create the impression of *you know nothing, Sunny*)

Story inspiration-
Dark souls(game series), ORV.
This has a seriously bleak vibe and with the monster descriptions...yeah this a Dark Souls' wet dream.

Finishing statements:
At the end of the day the choice of reading it or not is up you. If you loved ORV you will probably like this. But yeah reviews are so oberblown it's disgusting. I don't understand the mindset of raving fans. Maybe that's why I feel like I can think clearer(and yeah I realize a lot of those reviews on WN are fake and fabricated *whispers*like our lives*khm*).

Reading for me is entertainment. Not a bloody funeral.

It was full of opportunity, but in the end it became dissapointing.. First arc was beautiful and I really did enjoy it, but from then and onwards I just didn't feel like it was the same. Anyways, it's not worth it, go read something like fantasy simulator if you want a story about an MC who travels worlds, though if you're more into the dungeon stuff might as well go for Korean novels.

I've finished few chapters past volume 1, and decided to see what's happening in the latest chapters(chp. 233), because mc's journey is taking so long to get out the Dream Realm to ba awakened, and lo and behold, they're still f#cking stuck in the forgotten desolate place!

The storyline was actually good, the plot was not new but have new ideas. So I recommend trying it if it's your taste. But beware, after the brief trial for our mc, there will be brief world building because he'll be stucked in the academy trying to cram a lot of knowledge before the second trial in 4 weeks, then you'll be thrown in a long ass journey with the mc and friends to become an awakened (which is rank 2 in the ranking system and also the majority of superhumans are ranked right now), which will last for a whole volume and continued to the next volume, still stucked in that forgotten desolate shitty place.

Btw did someone checked past 300 chapters, tell me they're out of that forgotten place?

This Novel is Max 2.2 Star ☆ Ngl.

One thing i don't like is when the MC is with other people and the author keep reminding us that the MC is short, skinny and ugly, like holy shit we got it there is no need to repeat it all the time.

And recent chapters have definitely become smaller.

p.s: Also, Sunny is a street rat who lived with hunger, poverty and struggle. Why the hell does he even care about what Nephis plans are and how it will affect society (or who will end up dead because of it)? He never had anyone after his parents died and surely wouldn't give a damn about others fate. Makes zero sense.

Guys don't listen who give 1 star review they are probably fan of Arrogant young masters, You Are Courting Death, Ecchi and Harem vb other cliches.
I read many novel machine or translate and the ones that affect me the most (I remember right now):
1- İnfinite Bloodcore (I cried ch 185 around) Another novel from Author of RI (Really slow novel but didn't disappoint me) if you are new to read novel don't read
2- Author Get Lost's novel ı really enjoyed reading Mystical Journey and Way of The Devil
3- This novel
Writing quality, Story Development, World Background, Character Design all of them unuqie.
I really hate Harem, Echhi(maybe little), Young masters, Brainless 2d female and similar to. Veteran readers can understand me (maybe)
I think they ruin the story and none of them in the novel .
I could write a lot more here but English is not my main language and if ı'm write something wrong I apologize

The point is just give it a try you won't regret it. If you want something different experience.
