    His flaw is "You cannot lie" NOT "You must always answer truthfully"

    Why does he have to speak the truth when anyone ask a question and not be abe to ignore them or not answer their question??? Author really make this as frustrating as possible.

    Althought this premise sound goods its better suited for printed novel where author have all the time they want and can come up with witty line and half truth for MC that wiill make this stroy 1000% better but when author is tight on time and need to make new chapter everyday, giving yourself such a narrow narrative is just asking for a failure.

      Don’t know what author intended to do with this flaw but it’s everything but a narrow narrative. (With such a flaw author can basically justify anything that your gonna put under question, because who defines truth? You think why MC isn’t staying silence, well lack of response also a response, and if you genuinely believe that what your are saying the truth but it’s actually a lie then what? )

      his flaw is "clear conscience" the flaw description is "you cannot lie" does this change anything?
      not really but if you are nickpicking so will I.
      why does he have to speak the truth and not just ignore people we can go into philosophy and say that not saying anything is an answer in on itself and that answer isn't correct/true so hes lying and he cant do that.
      or we can go with the well established setting that the spell uses its own language and the novel gave us plenty of examples where a sentence could be translated into totally different sentency with totally different meaning like "raised by wolves" could be translated to "eaten alive"
      or we can go with the pragmatic aproach and just say author wrote his stuff till the flaw reveal then went "oh shite he can just not say anything lets just fix this soon" and didnt thonk that not changing "you cannot lie" to "you must tell the truth" will be such a big deal.

        People dropped the novel at the point I personally would call, the peak of plot hooks.
