    Does Ning Bing know Xin Ci is Shang or is it a mistake from the translator? At first everyone called her Zhang, because she has not become Sheng yet. So logically speaking if Ning Bing knew about her first name she would aslo know why Fang Yuan is so hardworking for her.

    So the only way for him to survive is to heat up? I mean, if he is freezing to death then he just needs to warm his body to stop it from freezing. Like there will be a need of high rank Gu, but it's still possible if I'm not wrong. Or maybe ten extreme aptitudes are meant to live in pairs of polar opposites to survive.

    Eh this novel is kinda garbage despite being jerked off as one of the best.

    1. Terrible power system. Gu powers are garbage, there's no scale(there's bugs for EVERYTHING) and it sets a bad precedent for the author to pull asspulls left and right.

    2. The way it pads itself is extremely irritating. Fang Yuan early on constantly talks about getting a healing bug. Whenever he gets a injured, it's mentioned and every time he gets some new Gu it's mentioned. But hah! There is no healing bug! Forgot to add the inner smug moral monologuing of the MC comes off as the musings of your typical edgelord and peak SOCIETY moment, yet another form of padding.

    3. It perverses philosophy and edgy just for the sake of it.

    4. The premise is awful as it just about 500 year old grandpa playing God with children.
