This story is very grim and dark, but people who can stomach it and see through the intricacies of its world and characters will love the novel. The horrors that the MC does and others do is just a testament to how this book isn't cutting corners for cheap entertainment, which a lot of novels are scared to depict. The thing about the MC is that he isn't some righteous hero looking to right his wrong world, he's someone who knows what world he lives in, who he is as a person and what his goals are, and who he will fight and what they are willing to do to bring him down(the murders, kidnapping, etc). This novel is a grim but very well-written piece of media that we do not see often. A lot of people don't like how evil the mc is and how he's willing to do the unthinkable but remember that the world he lives in isn't a children's fantasy, it's a place of excessive, wrathful, ever-changing, bloated filth with no sympathy for anyone; mc trying to be different in such a place is just suicide as if he isn't willing to do dirty work, then his enemies will bring him down.

man you must get no biches. I love fantasy and xianxia but i also like characters who represent the true face of sentient and intelligent creatures. I like the struggle the characters face to grow and then achieve what they want and I like it when the author shows that the world and people aren't black and white and that everyone is indeed different and have different mindsets. You are someone who likes happy go lucky main characters that live in la la land where everyone is shocked by how amazing they are. When you read so much of that disgusting fake shit and when society tries to paint different people as good and evil, you realize nobody is good or evil and everyone is just different shades of gray, only then can you really appreciate a book like Reverend insanity. Also i heavily agree with GrandAspiration

I believe that while everyone has the right to their own opinion (in this case, me being an edgy socially rejected piece of garbage with a very bad taste in books), but in the case of your comment here, I believe that the statement goes down the drain.

1) As you can see, I wrote that message for a friend of mine. Since you obviously don't know what the term 'friend' means, a friend is a person you are quite close to, who you can say whatever you want to them, and also trust them to keep your secrets, or just be there for you. I was casually joking around with this 'friend' of mine, it evens says so. I can say, or do, whatever the hell I want to with my friends, so long as it isn't a slur or some shit like that.
