In the heart of the volcano, the remnants left behind by the sages yearned for their successors.

Risking her life, his mother obtained the Immortal Palace Seal, handing it to Ning Zhuo before her passing.

“The Buddha Heart Demon Seal!”

To transcend into either Buddha or the Demon.

With this seal grasped firmly, he could inscribe a heart seal and command the creation of puppets.

While ordinary individuals struggled under the weight of just controlling a few, the burden was exceptionally light for, Ning Zhuo, who effortlessly commanded tens of thousands with a single gesture.

“Mother, I will fulfill your wishes and obtain the Immortal Palace!” He vowed.

Indeed.

Immortal Puppets; capable of spiritual secrets; their work skillful and rational.

A new realm is opened up, and things are in sync with the heavens.

The ancient bell echoes the laws. The moon dances under the clear light.

Embodied with myriad strengths, who in this world dares oppose?

***

In the heart of a volcano lies a mystical Mechanized Palace, a relic left behind by ancient sages, patiently awaiting its successor. In a desperate bid for its treasure, a mother sacrificed her life to claim the palace’s sacred seal, entrusting it to her son, Ning Zhuo, in her final moments.

This is no ordinary artifact; it is the Buddha-Heart Devil Seal.

It holds a profound truth: to enlighten oneself is to become a Buddha, yet to guide others may turn one into a devil. By wielding this seal, one can etch spiritual marks and command intricate mechanisms with ease, bearing only the lightest burden. While others strain under the immense mental weight of controlling even a few of such devices, Ning Zhuo effortlessly commands thousands with a single thought.

“Mother, I will honor your wish,” vowed Ning Zhuo. “I will claim the Mechanized Palace!”

Thus begins his journey:

A tale of spiritual bonds and ingenious marvels,
Where craftsmanship reveals cosmic truths,
And innovation opens realms of possibility.

An ancient bell resonates with eternal laws,
Its chime dancing under the moon’s serene glow.
With a form embodying infinite potential,
Who on earth could stand as his equal? Collapse

Damn it —28 days and still no new chapters! I've been following this story consistently, but the updates have completely stopped. I just don't understand the issue with Wuxiaworld or Webnovel. They translate every trashy novel they come across, but this gem gets neglected. evil evil gloom 4 Could it be due to fear of suppression by the CCP, or does our author only prefer stories with evil protagonists? Or is there a fear that the novel might get dropped altogether? Regardless of the reason, this hidden gem deserves an official translation. I apologize for this rant, but after nearly a month with no updates, my frustration has boiled over. I sincerely hope this novel will be translated soon. It would be such a waste if it remains in the shadows. sigh

I check my bookmarks everyday hoping for the translations to come back in. I really hope a translation team comes forward to translate it soon, one of the novels I'm most excited for and I don't want to read MTL. gloom

Please practice the Dao of Patience with me imbest , hoping the Heavens will reward us. This protagonist is evil though. I'm suspecting the author is a funtioning psychopath. So when her creates these chatecters that will do anything for progress, he doesn't see them as evil. Just as existing.

Up to chapter 84, the pacing was excellent. Let's all hope that it continues in the same way without facing a ban from the CCP
Author's Note After Chapter 88 (on Qidian):
Actually, I am a very clumsy person—this is my biggest realization in recent years of writing!

I wrote five novels in a row, and it wasn’t until my sixth novel, "Gu Zhenren," that I started to see some improvement. At that time, I didn't realize that writing such an unconventional protagonist would bring a lot of controversy, misunderstanding, and exclusion, leading to bans. I just wanted to write.

Before "Gu Zhenren" was finished, all six of my books were banned. At that time, I didn't want to touch the Xianxia genre at all; it felt like the entire world was dark.

Then I wrote my seventh book, "Infinite Blood Core," immersing myself in innovative writing techniques without considering the reading experience, which led to hitting a brick wall and causing me a lot of distress. "Infinite Blood Core" underwent major revisions for more than half a year, with nearly a million words modified. What sustained my body and soul was a single goal—to achieve the layout and structure I had imagined. I barely reached my set goal, but I was exhausted.

When I started creating "Immortal Craftwork," my initial title was "The Plain and Unremarkable Mechanism Master." I made an outline and wrote drafts. I showed them to the editor, Qingting Dada. I continuously revised and deleted parts five or six times. Thanks to Qingting Dada's guidance, many aspects were refined, and later chapters were moved to the front. Otherwise, it would have been even slower-paced than what you see now. It would have been much slower!

Then I chatted with readers and revealed the book title, which was criticized. The title indeed was bad. I couldn't think of a title. I have always had difficulties with titles and summaries. I asked everyone for title suggestions. Thanks to everyone, the final title was determined—"Immortal Craftwork."

When the new book was released, I didn't consider the weekend issue, which delayed the contract change by two days, preventing everyone from tipping. That was my fault. I hadn't paid attention to this issue before. Writing "Immortal Craftwork," I started paying attention to some data and formally learned about some monthly ticket rules and the value of some rankings for the first time. I am a very clumsy person!

Then it began... A hundred alliances in a single day, two hundred alliances in one day, three hundred alliances in two days, four hundred alliances with only 60,000 words released, and five hundred alliances before the book was launched! The fastest work to achieve four-star glory, breaking the whole network record! As of now, there are 524 alliance leaders!! Unexpected. I never thought it would happen!

I am still in a daze. It feels very unreal. I have been writing for so many years, used to criticism, misunderstanding, and being ignored; I am very familiar with that pace. This new pace is something I am experiencing for the first time and feel very unfamiliar with.

To be honest, at first, I was very surprised and excited! Then, I felt something was not quite right. Then, I felt anxious and uneasy. I had never encountered such treatment before. I was used to writing under pressure and criticism. This is the first time I've encountered such a writing environment. I am very grateful to everyone. I am immensely grateful! I know very well that when I fell to the bottom of my life for a long time, every drop of water, every ray of sunshine, was so precious and worth my gratitude.

To all the supporters, dear and respectable friends, I am filled with immense gratitude. So, at the end of April, I started to seclude myself and write more diligently, storing drafts actively. I am a clumsy person. Updating frequently is my weakness, and this time I am giving it my all. I just hope to write a relatively good work to give back to everyone as a token of my gratitude.

This writing experience is my first, so please privately message me if there are any shortcomings, and give me more feedback. Today's live broadcast at 11:30 AM is also my first live broadcast in my life, and there will definitely be mistakes. Please bear with me. You will see a very bewildered me then.

The initial subscription event has great rewards, mainly to cooperate with the official side. This is my first time doing this, and everything is new without any experience. There are many prizes for the initial subscription, and the official side has also tried many firsts. Did everyone see the pendant images? The River of Time and the Spring and Autumn Cicada, very beautiful! The community title is “Great Love of Heaven and Earth Alliance,” which fits our positive energy very well.

I earnestly ask everyone to do their best, subscribe more, and unlock more rewards.

Although I don't expect anything on the same level as 'Reverend Insanity', this is supposed to have a darker story to it unlike 'Infinite Bloodcore' which is pretty much opposite of RI character. Bloodcore did feel like overcompensation of characterization due to ban. And it did fail the numbers and end hastily lol. What I do hope for with this one here at least are smart characters, realistic actions/reactions, darker theme, deep lore and story 🤞

Will save a few hundred chaps before digging in.

Chapter 84 and Gu Zhen Ren is sharp as always. There are no generic side characters and cliche “arrogant young masters”. Everyone is unique. You can feel MC struggling and stumbling as there is no guarantee in success which is why it is so rewarding. Great read!

I only got to chapter 66, so perhaps things turn around. But I found the MC to be extremely unlikeable. He is very talented and very smart but often uses underhanded tactics to do things that he should just compete straight forward with. Although he is smart, he is also extremely dumb, to justify his underhandedness, he claims that he is doing it for his protection. But I find that argument about as strong as a piece of wet tissue paper. I know some will disagree with me on that, but I don't want to go into more detail.

Bro, what do you mean by doing things openly? Can you read Reverend Insanity to see where that can lead?
Also, I didn't read to chapter 66 but literally in the 1st 3 chapters he has a flashback of mother saying:
Now that I'm dead, you can only rely on yourself.

It's also a cultivation world from an author of Reverend Insanity. And everyone(including people in that world) knows how cruel it is.
Also, MC is 17. Even if he sticks too much to his ways it's forgivable. Like, he wasn't open with his talent for all his life and was humble. Can't you see how changing his personality randomly won't make sense?
