    I think author forgot something or it is a Plot hole.

    Since Sunny and other divine aspect have more cores. And to have more cores you need to ingest more soul essence or shadow fragments. Each essence is equivalent to more strength and speed. Thats why saturated and not arent the same in power.

    So how come Sunny and other divine aspect holder base strength arent comparable to 5x to normal base master? No technically they consume 21x more than a Normal ascender consume. So basically their base Power should be around way over a normal with no augmented power. And if they augment their base form. Shouldn’t they be easily 100x more powerful than an average power human?


    Or Soul essence is just equivalent to more Essence storage? And Sleeper increase in strength instead cause they still cant use essence. If so Nephis should be 4x more powerful than a normal Master in base form cause she ingest too much Soul essence in her sleeper form.

      1) Soul cores gives their owner physical power buff, but it is really sensable on level of two or three cores. Of course, Ascended Tyrant is much stronger then an Ascended Beast in terms of raw power but just lowkey covering a gap parting him from the last if that last posseses natural pysical augmentation.
      2) Morgan technically is weaker then Sunny in terms of raw power, but she want be directly outclassed by it untill Sunny augments his body with all his shadows.
      3) A thought about power: i dont think that the physical strengs is really so important, when we talking about two same rank people. Otherwise nightmare creatures would just oblitirate the humanity for many decades ago)))

        Nah I think he’s right. Even without shadows, Sunny’s base strength is higher than those of same class. However, one of Morgan’s aspect gives her a physique buff. Sunny also doesn’t fight “normal” humans often. Jet for example also have a way to go beyond the normal physical limit.

        Also, Morgan has the legacy of the War God. I’d imagine that she gets some physical buff from that.

        One last thing, the main source of extra strength for most Awakened is their essence and Morgan is probably better at using it to enhance her body.

      G3 says that saturating a core with soul fragments is a power increase, but not by alot compared to those who didnt saturate their cores. So im guessing the base form isnt really 2x but more so 1.2x to 1.5x. Even if Divine aspect users that are titan (7 cores) was a lower rank, their power would still be constrained by that lower rank. How i see it is, Rank is Quality and Class is Quantity.

      a Divine master and a Normal master may share the same limiter which would be the output of soul essence but the Divine master will be able to do more. Sunny for example using all of his abilities drawing from his soul cores and larg pool makes him able to have the output of strength he has but the strength of that essence isnt able to surpass the threshold of their rank. So at the end of the day its the quantity of abilities he has that makes him able to punch above his weight, than you would see from a normal master.

      I'll be honest im not sure where you got the x5 base form for Divine aspect users. But I think you thought if they have 5 cores it means they have 5 times the power. But the power scaling for class (quantity) isnt so linear or multiplicative because their isnt really a set amount or number givin for the power boost when it comes from a class increase. Sunnys Augmentation for example (Base + 4 shadows =500% Overall Boost) is. but never is a base form multiplied atleast of what ive read so far.
