POV: you receive the power to manipulate the shadows, creating limbs that can more or less work by their self, and you are also able to create an armor around you that can do the same... but you never thought of creating the same armor outside of you?!

So Sunny isn't a divine shadow? Now that I think about it, he's still human? Wow, I never thought of that. constraint FamilyGuy061

It's just that the author is an idiot and doesn't follow the logic of his own world. Sunny has five freaking cores! How can he be on the same level as Morgan in terms of power, even without using shadows? Five cores and ten thousand shards that were used to enhance him. On the other hand, she has a thousand. Her aspect doesn't enhance her at all! Mastery? Okay. Although this is also questionable, as he has already reached the third step in his inherited mastery. But what he did with the power comparison was a complete failure and manipulation of reality for the sake of the plot. Ah, it won't be interesting if there's no tension! Bitch. This is partly why I gave this novel a low rating.

I'll just assume that she has a Supreme-Rank Memory that increases her power. Otherwise, I won't be able to read any further due to the absurdity of the situation. Could she have such a Memory? Yes, she could. Could it enhance her power to such an extent? Perhaps. Why would she wear it during a sparring match? This is a complex question, but let's leave it aside, as my frustration and the absurdity of the situation are about to explode.

She wasn't using any memory. One of her aspect abilities enhances her body(strenght, resilience etc) while sunny does not. Aspect abilities are what makes humans so much stronger than beasts of the same rank and class(even superior ranks and classes really). sunny has one ability that enhances his physique, the shadows, and in this battle it was just a 4x to his power , it isnt really a very powerfull stre ght enhancing ability, especially because it isnt really focused on it, since it has many other uses. It is clear that the "10k fragments" arent really multiplying his power tenfold. Author has said that the value of shards gets smaller for each core, so he has more or less the equivalent of 5k fragments, more or less. So, counting the buff from the 3 shadows, that would make him about 20 times more powerfull than a master with zero strenght enhancing abilities. A sleeper Effie said that her ability enhanced her stats to that of about fithteen men, so a sleeper skill, pre evolution(all sleeper skills evolve after the second nightmare) made her almost as strong as sunny in this battle. Mogan's skill that makes her stronger is an awakened one.

There was only one line about the decrease in the value of the cores, and it can be interpreted in any way. I interpret it as a relative decrease. In other words, if you have four thousand fragments and add another thousand, your power increases by 20% instead of doubling, but if you compare it to a master with only one core, it doubles. I haven't seen any mention of Morgan's ability enhancing it. It was clearly stated that it involved cutting and cutting again. Only the third ability can enhance her through enchantments. Also, watch Morgan's fight with Mordret to see how ridiculous this is. He definitely doesn't have any enhancing abilities, and he used all his cores to create reflections. However...

Similar nonsense was during Sunny's fight with Caster. The author greatly underestimates the superiority in speed and strength (then just in speed). With a tenfold superiority, Caster should have sliced him into pieces in a couple of seconds, regardless of any planning. Such a fight would be possible if the superiority in speed was twice as much, and even then I'm not sure, but tenfold... You can make one move, while the opponent can make ten... Is it really possible to resist this, even if a master is fighting against a complete beginner? I'm sure it's not, and Sunny wasn't much of a master compared to Caster.
