Julian Weber is an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a graduate of Westpoint Military Academy with a degree in civil engineering. As U.S. involvement in Afghanistan comes to an end, Lt. Julian Weber finds himself involved in a terrorist attack by the Taliban, which claims his life.

However, he quickly finds out that death is not always final as he is reincarnated into the body of a Baron’s son and heir in an alternate Earth set in Late-Medieval Europe.     This is the dark ages... lights haven't even been invented yet. If anything they should be glad they're not reading any kids being R*ped before then killing them. Why kids? Remember, rule was vague and corruption was at large -- 15th century doesn't treat peasants as humans. Escpecially natives they colonize... Kids are less useful as slaves than the adults. So wake up... History is not a nice place where u can expect civil everywhere u go.

    sometimes when i think about this novel, why didn't the author create a female MC from europe or from the pope side to fight with Berengar like female Mussolini rather than itami from japan..but either way I like this story. not too boring and not too extreme. Its juz like author dream to if he had the chance to turn back time. Maybe Hitler is Berengar great great grandchildren in the future. Who know..

    I'll be honest... The one thing I like right now is seeing MC make a better for the whole community... or the world they're living in... Instead of Solo progression or just their own clinks... I used to love those, but now this type is more of my interest.

      The mc is getting worse and more tyrant and the novel is becoming more idiotic and stupid and the mc became more stupid and he thinks only about his lust most of the times especially at the last chapters, and the novel contains rape, insest, pedophilia, tyranny, and racism, the writer always justify the actions of the mc by saying it's the mid era and it's ok at that time.

    Dropped at around 200ish, was an alright junk food novel but the constant praising of the mc got grating, I'm fine with flawed and shitty characters that delude and justify themselves but wish the characters around them would respong to their behavior the way a normal person would even for that time period.

    Also this book gives me Duke Nukem 3D vibes
