However, he quickly finds out that death is not always final as he is reincarnated into the body of a Baron’s son and heir in an alternate Earth set in Late-Medieval Europe. In an era of political turmoil and civil strife, the Baron’s young son is named Regent of the Barony of Kufstein and forced to contend with feudal powers. Will he be able to institute reforms leading his Barony into the age of industry?

Or will he succumb to the pressure of his feudal overlords and a corrupt church that seek dominion overall? Collapse

Reached ch 20. Everything is rushed, from world building to relationship building. As for the romance, It's as bad if not worst than ErGen's.

Lmao, I remember reading and people would make every excuse in the book for why it wasn’t clearly some Nazi self insert power fantasy. Hell, people are still making excuses.

“He plans to destroy all the Slavs? That’s just because he knows they might fight him. He says Germans are the most superior? He’s just being a little patriotic, that’s all. All that Nazi iconography is just referencing the German Empire, you dummy.” One moron above you even said “he’s a german supremacist not a nazi supremacist.”

I’ve since dropped this book but I’m glad to see I was right. It also makes sense this is a self insert since the mc started off as a virgin with no friends lmao. I have to praise him for waiting for people to get hooked and slowly ramping up the nazism from “American proud of his German heritage” to “German emperor who loves enslaving and massacring other races.” It’s really too bad a series this bad, technically and morally, managed to get this popular.

Won't lie it's one of the best novels I read in a while and I do love a good world building and industrialization. Thus it's a Good novel to read.
    Now for what i hate:
-) Harem: it was great in the beginning but sucked at the end. i mean i get it he is a leader who wants his seed everywhere but still it sucked at the end
--) personally wasn't really interested in the sex scenes ( especially the later ones became boring)
--) my dude just f#cks a lot in the later chapter
-) The German supremacy became over the top. I found it interesting at the beginning but now it's over the top
-) Africa: this hit me deep cause I'm African but the way he stated Africa is bound to be enslaved in any universe hits deep.
--) I also think my guy doesn't like Africans much (racist? can't decide) but i seriously he depicts Africa as a lot cause filled with barbarians. I get we aren't Europeans or Asians but still that hits deep
-) Gods: so Gods exist in this world but they don't do shit? (African Gods) doesn't make sense in anyway if you think about it.
--) also what were they doing when the Africans were being slaughtered
    -) MC is f#cked

    Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
Would have given it 4 but i personally don't like the depiction of Africa.
Also I don't like how he treats allies and how he abuses his power.

I said it once, and I will say it again, Novel written by a neo-Nazi for other neo-Nazi/white supremacists... I mean, just look at the dislike ratio, even though the review was justified and true to the story. It's easy to see what kind of people like this "novel".

So. I did not finish this book, I'm gonna a start off with that statement. But it was decent up untill the author stars going on the insane ethno-super people trope just like the Nazis did irl. I'm part German and I find this very disgusting, worse than the Chinese nationalism

It's definitely not worse than Chinese nationalism. I remember one novel where the Chinese MC raped a bunch of Japanese woman and the author tried to make it so the MC was being righteous, straight up disgusting. Here the author is just a German fanboy, it's definitely cringe but not a big deal.

I quit this when I realized the author was keen on the German Supermacy and on the whole cultural genocide thing.

Basically author wouldn't stop raving about how 15th century Germans are superior to every other flavor of human and everyone else is nothing but a barbarian that needs to be enslaved and have his culture eradicated.

The cherry on top is that the MC comes from our reality and is an American (USA). You would think that such an individual would understand ethnicities to nothing but bogus and promote a more panhuman ideology. You know USA which consists of many other ethnicities (mainly European ones).

I should add that the whole book is basically a power fantasy about a closet Nazi. He only lacks real death camps but that would have been too obvious. He had to suffice to just eradicating or belittling the history of other cultures.

That's just modern woke culture talking, colonization made them incredibly rich. It was the obvious thing to do if you want to benefit your country. And if you wanna look at history, back then when a strong nation met a much weaker one it always ended in bloodshed. You should be thankful the British only colonized your nation.

    The plot is shit.

It's so forced, armored and filled with holes that despite its theme of realism it just comes off as another poor quality power fantasy whose MC's only redeeming quality is the gifts of super-human ability, reality bending and plot armor the author constantly showers them with.

If you're out of touch with reality and the way the world works, maybe you'd enjoy this clumsy thing, but it's a hard pass for me. I wouldn't have even bothered passed ten or so chapters if not for having nothing worthwhile to read atm.

I have continued to the very last chapter and I think the story is going well but please don't ruin it by including gods and thier mess. Author have a look on "the strongest Interstellar commander", it can follow an arc where beregner will receive memories of a far away descendent or his semi God son in future which information about holds threat to earth and go in war between civilizations. satisfied

I read this novel till 400+ but I dropped it since I got bored. I'm not saying the story is not good, but it's just not my cup of tea.
One of the reasons was the MC had his brother's skull to be made as a goblet for him. Even, if it is coated with gold, just sipping wine from it, was so disgusting to imagine. If the author just wants to show the ruthlessness of the MC from it, I think it is totally unnecessary.

I don't think it's a common troupe—this is the only novel I read that took that sentence literally. Although other novels says something like that, it's more on a boast or a threat, but never did they took that word literally. But here, the MC really took his brother's skull and made it into a goblet. How big is a skull? At least more than your palm and just imagining it felt stupid. It would be okay if the MC just used it as collection, but he's clearly drinking.
