                What do you think is the intersection of three of my examples? They are complete worlds as if someone from that reality came and made it a novel here. Super gene mc is kinda idiot and has plot armor but reality is still objectively top quality. I dont doubt that reverend insanity is over every literacy art, it is unbelievable that one person made that all up, i honestly dont believe. Im not comparing the story im comparing the worlds some people might not like their mcs or what they have been through but those worlds are so real

                  Yes, I advise you to try reading, a large worked out world is full of secrets and mysteries in which our main character tries not to get confused and go crazy.
                  The first volume may seem a little everyday and if you don't like it, then warm up to its end, since at the end everything will change, this is about two hundred chapter.

                  reverend insanity .... is just meh and their community is full of edgelords. im on same page with you here but i did read 100ch's to give it a chance and it didnt fail to disappoint me. dropped.

                  Lord of the Mysteries is like a combo of Sherlork, Lovecraft, Dystopia & Utopia, Wholesomeness, Brutality & Madness, Epic Moments and finally a sense of terror of something's lurking in the shadows with open jaws waiting for you to land in its mouth but you can't seem to see it no matter how hard you try. But its there.

                  That should be sufficient, I guess.

                  What makes you think that Lotm is terrible? It's world building is amazing, long enough that I needed to reread to remember everything. The author is a master at foreshadowing. The mc uses his brain, instead of 90% of other MC's who are idiots. Like super gene, the novel you harped on about which I read and barely understood. Dropped after he left the human universe. Sg is amazing, but I found I liked this better. Overall, the only flaw is lack of main character development.

                  Personal opinion here: I love LotM but I like it better over SG. SG is great at the beginning, it's very interesting with the world building but it sort of falls off after he gets out into the wider universe. It felt like the quality of writing dropped and became more sloppy and there were more plot holes (not enough explanation?). Either that or the translation couldn't catch up, it can be a problem when you're trying to translate abstract concepts over a language barrier.

                  LotM is more consistent with no filler episodes. The concepts are very interesting and there are very few plot holes. It's a very fun read from the beginning to the end. LotM was also officially translated and not fan-translated so that could have made a difference in the quality.

      Bro, there's very few novels where MC uses some brain cells for something other than reproduction these days. This novel has a well defined power system, 0% filler, interesting story, an awesome sense of mystery and some actual twists and turns. Most fantasy elements are original and there are no plot holes + it doesn't go downhill even after 1000 chapters, what else do you expect?

    Goated novel, great mystery, great characters, always interesting, the horror and madness is very discriptive, you can understand the duality of power and madness each sequence potion brings to the table. Intelligent mc that can still crack a joke and crack some skulls, he uses his abilities perfectly whilst not standing out too much. One of my only disappointments was not even a tinge of romance, like even a hint of my man Klein getting some pus man, not even a brothel. I figured him and Aubrey would be interesting but the final rush made it not possible. Hopefully the sequel brings some more interesting things, I'm looking forward to it.

        LotM will be a triology series. This is the first part. Author stated back in 2020 the next part will come somewhere in 2022.
        Now, with the recent news, Author is currently writing a novel "Ed Ambers Emperium" and say that when it'll end, he'll start writing LotM 2.
        Tho beware, LotM 2 will have a new character as MC and it'll happen on the now mysterious and only namely mentioned Western Continent that no one currently has much info on.
        MC will be from Assassin Pathway gradually changing to Hunter Pathway. (not sure how credible this is but seems true from most sources).

          he starts in a scheme from the start but it takes a while to realise that, other than that after he leaves the first city and moves to the capital it picks up a bit

          but he gets his "class" very early and starts experimenting with mysticism and stuff

          Read until the very end of Vol 1 to see if u like it or not.

          Vol 1 is Far more slower than other Vols BUT when u get to later volumes, u would honestly miss that slowness.

          Also MC’s Cheat or Golden Finger isn’t something like a system that is beyond the world but MC’s Golden Finger is genuinely unique and the Mystery and Shock Factor for some events are honestly mind blowing.

          Also Amon is the MOST terrifying enemy, I ever have seen any webnovels. I don’t mean his power, but his utter bizarre curiosity and terror whenever MC has to face him.

          All characters of relevance and importance are fleshed out and there is character growth for almost all of them.

            One thing that's different from most "Golden Finger" or "Cheat" novels is that the Grey Fog world is far from omnipotent and he doesn't unlock all it's functionalities from the start.



            One of the consistent themes of the novel is Klein always having to be cautious. He always has to avoid being careless or he will die, it keeps things in suspense instead of being bland and steamrolling over everything with his Golden Finger.


            Also, his enemies are scarily smart too. None of them are simple brutes, so it makes it very interesting.
