Lu Yang transmigrated into the Cultivation World and became a disciple of the Demon Sect, the Primordial Saint Sect.

Fortunately, he obtained the mysterious treasure 【Book of a Hundred Lifetimes】, which allowed him to restart a new lifetime after death, letting everything begin anew. He could even bring back treasures, cultivation, lifespan, and might even awaken special talents from his previous life.

However, the number of uses was limited; it did not grant true immortality.

As the Cultivation World was on the verge of chaotic times, Lü Yang had originally decided to lie low in the Demon Sect, cultivating painstakingly through one lifetime after another. He would not leave the mountain unless he achieved immortality. Yet, the Demon Sect was extraordinarily perilous, and talents were everywhere.

In the first lifetime, Lü Yang suffered a forced assault and was directly overexerted to death by his Senior Sister.

In the second lifetime, Lü Yang seized power from below and overexerted his Senior Sister to death, but still could not escape the deadly hands of his Senior Brother.

The third lifetime… The fourth lifetime…

Until after a hundred lifetimes, when he looked back, Lü Yang realized that he had already become a Great Overlord of the Demonic Path, the most beastly existence within the Primordial Saint Sect.

“The Demon Sect is truly full of talents, and they all speak so nicely.”

“I really love it here!” Collapse

Lotm as the other guy said, Reverend Insanity starts to get better a bit later though, The Perfect Run - this novel is quite literally perfect and it's not as short as it seems, Mother of Learning- possibly the best time looping web novel ever, and has great world building, Shadow Slave is pretty famous and easy to pick up, it's good too, Omniscient Readers Perspective, Top Tier Providence... if you like cultivation, cautious mc, Sevens , Slow Prison Life, The Author's POV not bad for a new reader, "The Demon Prince goes to the Academy", Chrysalis, it's a monster evolution, slowly keeps getting better, My House of Horrors, or anything from that author really, there's more but these come to mind rn

Slowly been reading this over the past few days, this novel is quite good. Granted, the MTL chapters are also intermittently filled with author's larping, so "chapter 585" is actually just chapter 550 in the actual novel. Maybe #panic# can prune these someday so that we only get the novel chapters?

The main character seems like an average guy dealing best with the circumstances according to his cheat ability. I like how despite stacking so many abilities and cheating to seize fortunate encounters still doesn't allow him to just rise to the top in one fell swoop. I also like how the MC bullies the weak and fears the strong. It seems like there's always some plot or deeper mystery holding back the MC from reaching the next level, so the progression is different in each life.

Overall, a slow and methodical Weak to Strong type novel with a cheat. The MC has common sense and embodies a chaotic neutral stance, of doing whatever floats their boat, so long as it's to their amusement or benefit. He holds grudges, but rewards those who help him. The writing is pretty good too.

The MTL is a good read as well, don't be discouraged.

I would much rather see the authors updates than not. It’s not like they take up the space of actual chapters.

At first i thought it was gonna be a fastfood(it set itself up that way) and was pretty meh at the beginning, but it eventuelly became decent and than even quite good despite reading the MTL, while i dont think its realy unique or espically amazing, it definitivly is worth a read.

One criticism I have regarding this novel is that if you are going to write a novel Regarding demonic cultivation, and not just cultivation but Dual Cultivation, you have to describe the sexual scenes. It's a shame you don't do it.

These kind of starting over stories are a joy to read because the MC will fail multiple times and need to device a strategy to overcome it instead of the regular stories where the plot holes will be used to save MC after performing a wrong action.
