Author should really rewrite the beginning, I almost dropped this masterpiece because of how utterly shit it was. Once he reaches Foundation Establishment shit gets real.
Even some late stage cultivators in xianxia novels I read before can't compare to the Foundation Establishment cultivators here in terms of scheming and power, much less the Golden Core and Nascent Soul.

Hello everyone I will try to make a great detailed review of this book for the maximum number of characters. I use a translator. I must say right away that I have read 341 chapters out of 561 possible ones.

The plot itself is good, but very confusing with a lot of names and some places with poor translation.
But the translation itself is suitable for reading. The author tries to release 1-2 chapters every day. The further along the plot, the more interesting it is to read.

The main character is basically a villain, but sometimes he shoots with his kindness. Develops different strategies, makes plans, pits different enemies against each other. Simply put, he has a brain. There will be no romance, only the use of the female sex for their own selfish purposes. Right up to complete exhaustion and death from paired cultivation .

Also, "Karma" stands out very strongly in the basis of the plot. With it, you can see the future and the past, rewrite your death, carry out reincarnation, kill, change martial arts, perform hypnosis on entire states or strong personalities. The main character will die or suffer a lot because of this thing.

Also, his "cheat" "book of 100 lives" can be felt by strong personalities, as it was in the popular book "longevity simulator".

Treasures come as I remember: ordinary, spiritual, and true.

Read up to 312 chapters, and though my mind might now be mush, here's a review.

#Characters

there are few recurring characters, and most of them aren’t explored deeply. But for this type of novel, that’s not really a problem—it’s more about the main plot and ideas than character depth.

#Premise

At first glance, it might seem like one of those “life simulator” novels that are becoming popular. But it’s not that at all. Instead of simulations, the protagonist actually lives through each life in full. This adds real weight and immersion to the experience.

#Story

If you enjoy morally grey or outright evil main characters, this story delivers. It doesn’t take long to realize that everyone in the sect is either an exploiter or being exploited. Unlike other cultivation novels where enemies just randomly demand the MC’s treasures and attack, here the conflict is more layered. The system of karma, debt, and manipulation runs deep. Nothing is ever free: if a high-ranking cultivator helps you, you’re just raw material; if a peer helps, it’s because they want something in return.
Every powerful figure is playing 4D chess, and just when you think the MC is finally free, it’s revealed that he’s already caught in the web of someone even more powerful. The sense of being constantly outmaneuvered adds real tension.

#Power System

Although the cultivation realms are similar in name to other xianxia novels, the way they’re handled is very different. In most stories, realms are just labels—bigger numbers. But here, each realm feels meaningful, with massive gaps between them and unique struggles in each one. There’s no cross-realm fighting nonsense that ruins the logic of cultivation hierarchies. Progress actually means something here.

The MC is a joy to follow. He’s not perfect. He struggles. He fails. His progress feels earned and realistic rather than handed to him on a silver platter. Though he is absolutely evil, there is still some humor in his character.

This novel is decent over all, the premise is very similar to other such novels except that he only has 100 lives and instead of simulating them, he actually lives through every one so far. The Mc is pretty decent not brain dead and the side characters are decent for such a novel

The only issue I had was the ridiculous battles, you expect his opponent to die at any moment but they just keep taking shit out of their sleeves again again, gets a to a point no?

Regardless still a good read 3.5/5

  2nd :- MC here is more towards Evil unlike Longevity MC who is more indifferent.
  3rd :-In Longevity novel you can say MC can get many resources, and doesn't need to fight much for them, here resources are very limited, so fight and scheme between people are very bloody.
  4th :- power system is quite different, while in Longevity real power gap between realm start showing up after immortal realm,
  for immortal, Qu refinement to Longevity realm are all just one realm, Mortal realm
  , here difference in realm show up from very start, a Qi refinement can't beat Foundation, even gap between small realm are extremely big.

  Absolute lack of good guys. Atleast in that novel we have people who are truly good and helpful and naïve but in this book everyone like that has probably died or played with throughout time,if you keep on reading you'll find out about the saint sect ancestors disciples.

This is a great novel, but the beginning is complete garbage. It only starts to get really good when he reaches peak Qi Refining(which is pretty fast).
One of the only novels where each major realm upgrade seems qualitative.

Also, word of advice. DON'T use Google Translate as MTL for this novel, most of the techniques and some important words get translated as pinyin, and they're really long names. For example, "dao calamity" gets translated as "dao xie", and one of the techniques he's practicing right now is called "Dry Heaven One Yuan Unifies the Heavens God Method", imagine that entirely in pinyin. Either read the Gemini MTL on WTR lab or the Deepseek one here.

Edit. Just checked and the Deepseek one seems to be the best in terms of actually translating the words, but it's really really flowery and doesn't try to retain the original meaning:

    The terms are fine. It's the prose I have a problem with. As I said, Deepseek tries to "improve" the prose, making it flowery. It's off-putting.
    If you like that stuff, then fine, but it feels like I'm reading a Wattpad original from a 1st semester literature student.
