Lu Yang transmigrated into the Cultivation World and became a disciple of the Demon Sect, the Primordial Saint Sect.

Fortunately, he obtained the mysterious treasure 【Book of a Hundred Lifetimes】, which allowed him to restart a new lifetime after death, letting everything begin anew. He could even bring back treasures, cultivation, lifespan, and might even awaken special talents from his previous life.

However, the number of uses was limited; it did not grant true immortality.

As the Cultivation World was on the verge of chaotic times, Lü Yang had originally decided to lie low in the Demon Sect, cultivating painstakingly through one lifetime after another. He would not leave the mountain unless he achieved immortality. Yet, the Demon Sect was extraordinarily perilous, and talents were everywhere.

In the first lifetime, Lü Yang suffered a forced assault and was directly overexerted to death by his Senior Sister.

In the second lifetime, Lü Yang seized power from below and overexerted his Senior Sister to death, but still could not escape the deadly hands of his Senior Brother.

The third lifetime… The fourth lifetime…

Until after a hundred lifetimes, when he looked back, Lü Yang realized that he had already become a Great Overlord of the Demonic Path, the most beastly existence within the Primordial Saint Sect.

“The Demon Sect is truly full of talents, and they all speak so nicely.”

“I really love it here!” Collapse

Special comment on the glossary of characters! Hello everyone, this comment will be edited over time, you can watch it and use it as an aid to remember who is who among the names.

Here it will be indicated: the name of the character, his gender, in which chapter he was listed, and some information about him. At the very bottom, it will be indicated on which chapter the names are being edited. I also ask for a little help if I missed a character before the specified chapter.

Dear spoilers, please do not read the characters beyond certain chapters if you have not read them.

I don't know how to put a spoiler on a comment. So it seems like you need to put the tag somehow and then it will disappear? As it is, this glossary is more for those who have started reading MTL. Plus, I don't even know if I need a spoiler here. I just put chapters where these characters are mentioned, which means don't read any more yet. As I understand it, most people immediately read the entire comment, although there may be spoilers that are not strong. Let's say you forgot a character, but it was already there. After you looked at the glossary, you remembered who it was. We read up to chapter 30, and there the characters go beyond chapter 30, so you don't need to read there. If necessary, I can put a spoiler, just tell me how to do it?

Author should really rewrite the beginning, I almost dropped this masterpiece because of how utterly shit it was. Once he reaches Foundation Establishment shit gets real.
Even some late stage cultivators in xianxia novels I read before can't compare to the Foundation Establishment cultivators here in terms of scheming and power, much less the Golden Core and Nascent Soul.

boast Hello everyone I will try to make a great detailed review of this book for the maximum number of characters. I use a translator. I must say right away that I have read 341 chapters out of 561 possible ones.

Now let's start not with the plot itself, but with the levels of improvement, since they play a very important role in the whole plot.
    1)Creating Qi - pawn;
    2)Laying the foundation - A True Master or a True Monarch;
    3)The Golden Core - The true Lord;
    4)The Nascent Soul or the Nascent Tao - The True Tao;
    5)??? - ???
"Initial Stage, Middle Stage, Late Stage, Perfect Stage".

In the story of "Creating Qi," students are used for materials, creating weapons, leveling up, martial arts, and so on. Anything below "Laying the Foundation" is just death if you become useless to them. But if you are useful, they will continue to use you until you level up or die. Above, it's like demigods who can use teleports over distances, predict the future, or even the past, help heaven and earth, avoid death, capture the soul or body, and so on.
Next is the "Golden Core" (later), some of the strongest of which have been shown at this point in time. They can destroy entire states or even change the very system of the martial arts world. Near-immortal creatures that consume or destroy other worlds.

They can live up to 150 years, 300 years for 5 lives, 1000-5000 years, 5000 years up to the unknown.

The plot itself is set up on a chessboard where everyone is a piece that has its own move. From an ordinary commoner all the way up to the king. So the main character is using his book 100 Lives to try to make the right moves or flip the whole board.
Each life of the main character is a lot of plot and disclosure of secrets, up to becoming different figures.

The plot itself is good, but very confusing with a lot of names and some places with poor translation.
But the translation itself is suitable for reading. The author tries to release 1-2 chapters every day. The further along the plot, the more interesting it is to read.

The main character is basically a villain, but sometimes he shoots with his kindness. Develops different strategies, makes plans, pits different enemies against each other. Simply put, he has a brain. There will be no romance, only the use of the female sex for their own selfish purposes. Right up to complete exhaustion and death from paired cultivation thrill .

Also, "Karma" stands out very strongly in the basis of the plot. With it, you can see the future and the past, rewrite your death, carry out reincarnation, kill, change martial arts, perform hypnosis on entire states or strong personalities. The main character will die or suffer a lot because of this thing.

Also, his "cheat" "book of 100 lives" can be felt by strong personalities, as it was in the popular book "longevity simulator".

Treasures come as I remember: ordinary, spiritual, and true.

The world map has 4 cardinal directions: south, east, north, west, where there are 4 main sects. Also the great sea, the underworld, the sky, the captured worlds, the hidden worlds.

The book improves through the golden spheres of various strong personalities, up to the issue of the "golden talent", which completely changes the life of the protagonist.

The sects are: demon sect, dao sect, sword sect, buddhist sect. Very different martial arts, people, figures, lives, stories and directions.
    1) Sword Sect - hates demons and kills them anyway, they really like to use the phrase when killing "it's all to pay for your karma and your rebirth in my sect." Very creepy people who are obsessed with their places. Your sword is your path and nothing else.
    2) The demon Sect is a rotten sect full of intrigue and hidden dangers. They never keep their words and try to betray their weaknesses at any moment. Complete lunatics who use all kinds of martial arts to kill. They like to play chess and win. The more useful you become, the more you get. To walk next to death and benefit the sect and improve yourself.
    3) The Dao sect is the weakest of all sects, but it is reasonable with various honors and awards. The larger the population, the stronger. But it is precisely because of this that they suffer from their weakness. Defend the grid and complete different tasks to increase your rank.
    4) The sect of Buddhism is very strange and hidden, but it involves completely brainwashing its students to use them. They like to sneak up on the others and capture weakened opponents for their studies. Just do self-study and nothing else.

Self-development "Qi Creation" at the very beginning is just time, pills. As well as various items to increase your chance of becoming a "Foundation Builder" up to 100%.
The "foundation of the building" is a collection of 4 different items that connect to each other (yin and yang) (yin and yang) and items to increase the chance of the sphere.
"The Golden Core" captures 5 different station with anchors or study to perfection and transition to a higher realm.

The main character will also have a teacher in the form of an old grandfather, whom he wanted to kill, but then they became friends.

The supporting characters are all very smart and hidden with a great desire to play cat and mouse with you or kill you. Right down to playing chess with you.

I recommend reading this book. My score is 4.6 out of 5.0
Please do not judge my comment harshly and, if possible, write a positive or negative review on my review. gloom

Read up to 312 chapters, and though my mind might now be mush, here's a review.

    #Characters

there are few recurring characters, and most of them aren’t explored deeply. But for this type of novel, that’s not really a problem—it’s more about the main plot and ideas than character depth.

    #Premise

At first glance, it might seem like one of those “life simulator” novels that are becoming popular. But it’s not that at all. Instead of simulations, the protagonist actually lives through each life in full. This adds real weight and immersion to the experience.

    #Story

If you enjoy morally grey or outright evil main characters, this story delivers. It doesn’t take long to realize that everyone in the sect is either an exploiter or being exploited. Unlike other cultivation novels where enemies just randomly demand the MC’s treasures and attack, here the conflict is more layered. The system of karma, debt, and manipulation runs deep. Nothing is ever free: if a high-ranking cultivator helps you, you’re just raw material; if a peer helps, it’s because they want something in return.
Every powerful figure is playing 4D chess, and just when you think the MC is finally free, it’s revealed that he’s already caught in the web of someone even more powerful. The sense of being constantly outmaneuvered adds real tension.

    #Power System

Although the cultivation realms are similar in name to other xianxia novels, the way they’re handled is very different. In most stories, realms are just labels—bigger numbers. But here, each realm feels meaningful, with massive gaps between them and unique struggles in each one. There’s no cross-realm fighting nonsense that ruins the logic of cultivation hierarchies. Progress actually means something here.

    #Main Character

The MC is a joy to follow. He’s not perfect. He struggles. He fails. His progress feels earned and realistic rather than handed to him on a silver platter. Though he is absolutely evil, there is still some humor in his character.

This novel is decent over all, the premise is very similar to other such novels except that he only has 100 lives and instead of simulating them, he actually lives through every one so far. The Mc is pretty decent not brain dead and the side characters are decent for such a novel

The only issue I had was the ridiculous battles, you expect his opponent to die at any moment but they just keep taking shit out of their sleeves again again, gets a to a point no?

Regardless still a good read 3.5/5

Daoist InkDrunk's Pocket Scroll of Evaluation
Title: Struggling to Survive with Regression Power in the Primordial Saint Sect
Poison Level: Mid-Heaven Tier. Caution: Contains karmic backdrafts, blood-soaked schematics, and philosophical migraines.

Amitabha... This lowly wanderer ventured through the ominous mountain path of regression...only to find himself chewing on ashes of fate, wrapped in karmic incense. A story where even the Foundation Establishment realm dares to poke at the laws of causality and probability, like drunken immortals gambling with the Heavens’ credit line.

Unlike those sects that chant righteousness while hoarding jade beauties, this demonic sect cultivates real filth and fungi: corpse-filled dungeons, conniving side characters, and schemes that could make even a nascent soul cultivator cry for their momma. The MC? A Neutral-to-Evil cultivator who smiles not to charm but to calculate your lifespan like a tax auditor from the underworld.

    Merits (Medicinal Rank):

    - Side characters don’t disintegrate after 3 chapters. They linger, like debts.

    - The regression trope is handled like a Dao of Reincarnated Bureaucracy—not just to become OP but to explore this unholy crucible of a world.

    - Cultivation feels earned. No free dao fruits falling from the sky.

    ☠️ Poison Vein Alerts:

The power system is dense. You will be tempted to open spreadsheets. You have been warned.

Reading while multitasking may cause karmic backlash due to skipped names, ghostly sects, or sudden soul-crushing betrayals.

    Suggested Mindset:
Do not enter expecting “Villain MC with a Heart of Gold.” He has no heart. Just a ledger and a shovel. troll33

    Final Verdict:
A refreshing, grim elixir among diluted mortal wines. One that stains the robes of justice sect readers and leaves the faint scent of 'I'm too sober for this'. troll4

Would recommend to fellow Daoists who have stared too long into the face-slapping void and are now ready for plots that twist like serpent veins in a cursed gourd. troll21

1st :- This MC only got 100 restart unlike Longevity MC who got countless.
2nd :- MC here is more towards Evil unlike Longevity MC who is more indifferent.
3rd :-In Longevity novel you can say MC can get many resources, and doesn't need to fight much for them, here resources are very limited, so fight and scheme between people are very bloody.
4th :- power system is quite different, while in Longevity real power gap between realm start showing up after immortal realm,
, here difference in realm show up from very start, a Qi refinement can't beat Foundation, even gap between small realm are extremely big.
5th :- Longevity MC give filling of more adult mindset, this MC give filling for little big childish and funny.
6th :- Longevity have many kind of side character, Evil guys to extremely good guys, in this novel good guys can't reach top so you will mostly encounter scammers after scammers.

There are many more but they are small different, those difference are cause both worlds are very different and cultivation ways are different. Overall both are top tier.

Absolute lack of good guys. Atleast in that novel we have people who are truly good and helpful and naïve but in this book everyone like that has probably died or played with throughout time,if you keep on reading you'll find out about the saint sect ancestors disciples.

    5/5
This is a great novel, but the beginning is complete garbage. It only starts to get really good when he reaches peak Qi Refining(which is pretty fast).
One of the only novels where each major realm upgrade seems qualitative.

Also, word of advice. DON'T use Google Translate as MTL for this novel, most of the techniques and some important words get translated as pinyin, and they're really long names. For example, "dao calamity" gets translated as "dao xie", and one of the techniques he's practicing right now is called "Dry Heaven One Yuan Unifies the Heavens God Method", imagine that entirely in pinyin. Either read the Gemini MTL on WTR lab or the Deepseek one here.

Edit. Just checked and the Deepseek one seems to be the best in terms of actually translating the words, but it's really really flowery and doesn't try to retain the original meaning:

    Terms:
Google Translate: ['He is that [Da Lin Mu]... Ang Xiao Bi Ri True Lord! ']
Gemini: [‘He is that [Da Lin Wood]—Ang Xiao Biri True Lord!’]
Deepseek: ['He is that ['Great Forest Wood']... True Monarch Piercing Sky and Shading Sun!']

    Actual writing:
Gemini: ["Why are you laughing, Junior Brother?" "I'm laughing for Senior Sister," Lu Yang said sincerely, "I was worried about Senior Sister's health, but now it seems I was overthinking it." "Worried about my health?" Yu Suzhen was stunned. "Yes," Lu Yang said with a sigh, "Before I entered the sect, I frequented brothels and contracted a venereal disease. Senior Sister was too hasty just now, and I didn't have time to say anything. But since Senior Sister is about to enter Qi Refining, I'm sure a mere venereal disease won't be a problem for you, right?" Yu Suzhen: "..."]
Deepseek: ["Junior Brother, why do you laugh?" "I laugh for you, Senior Sister." Lu Yang spoke with heartfelt sincerity. "I had worried for your well-being. Yet now it seems my fears were unfounded." "My well-being?" Yu Suzhen blinked. "Indeed." Lu Yang sighed, feigning deep concern. "Before joining the sect, Junior Brother frequented the pleasure houses... and acquired flower willow disease*. I hadn't the chance to mention it before Senior Sister pounced so eagerly. But surely, now that Senior Sister is on the cusp of Refining Qi, such a trifling affliction poses no threat?" Yu Suzhen: "..."]

    In conclusion: Use Gemini

Google TL and Gemini translate the text literally, while DeepSeek R1 adapts the text using terms from a pre-made glossary (which was compiled using Gemini Pro).

And how did you conclude that Gemini is better? What kind of logic is that? meme_12

I could understand if “Da Lin” referred to some sect or clan, but it literally translates to “Great Forest”, just like “Daqing” (Da Qing), “Dachan” (Da Chan) are often used in many novels to denote a country or city.

Even if it were a term related to a clan’s or sect’s technique, it's inherently unreasonable to read “abracadabra” without understanding the context.

As the novels say, “I understand the individual words or characters, but I don’t understand the sentences they form.”

I’m trying to grasp this logic because I want to improve my prompt for AI MTL, but so far I don’t get it.

The terms are fine. It's the prose I have a problem with. As I said, Deepseek tries to "improve" the prose, making it flowery. It's off-putting.
If you like that stuff, then fine, but it feels like I'm reading a Wattpad original from a 1st semester literature student.

        From what I posted:
"Why are you laughing, Junior Brother?" → "Junior Brother, why do you laugh?"
"I'm laughing for Senior Sister," Lu Yang said sincerely → "I laugh for you, Senior Sister." Lu Yang spoke with heartfelt sincerity.
"I'm sure a mere venereal disease won't be a problem for you, right?" → "Surely, now that Senior Sister is on the cusp of Refining Qi, such a trifling affliction poses no threat?"

If you could make it closer to the Gemini's prose, it would be perfect.

Ok sir..thanks for the clarification and I get where you're coming from ...DeepSeek’s glossary-driven approach helps with consistent terminology, especially for sect names, cultivation ranks, and culturally rooted phrases. That definitely matters for long-term readability and deeper immersion.
Whereas gemini in this case was based on tone and delivery... especially in dialogue. DeepSeek tends to over-embellish and loses some of the blunt humor or sarcasm intended in the original, which matters a lot in scenes like Lu Yang’s brothel joke mentioned before. Gemini, while more literal, keeps the character voice punchy and modern.

So I’d say it’s not that one is strictly better... it really depends on the scene’s goal. For lore-heavy or poetic passages, DeepSeek shines. But for irreverent, humorous dialogue, Gemini often captures the vibe better.

Well in the end its to know when to let the AI sound elegant and when to say,
“No, Lu Yang just made a dick joke...leave it alone." troll12 troll7
