Anthony doesn't really care what happens to himself, he's broken in that aspect because he can't seem to acknowledge when bad things happens to himself. It's literally his whole backstory from his previous human life. He only cares about what happens to his family which is the Colony and his pets. I guess you didn't make it far enough into the story to the part where the grand priest from the Church of the Path f#cks with Anthony's family. Also Anthony realizes that the Colony can't afford to start an all-out war with the old sapient races while dealing with their current war and increasingly brutal waves that are occurring more and more frequently. So unless those old sapient races decide to go for the killing blow and erase the Colony, then Anthony isn't going to start slaughtering all of them. Though he has made a showing of his strength on two separate occasions when they mess with his family. But wiith the way the story is currently going as of chapter 1770, Anthony and the Colony are becoming too powerful for the old sapient races to f#ck with them. The Legion might decide to go for the kill soon, but that remains to be seen.

The first alternative povs are a little boring, I remember I was struggling to keep reading them. keke
Later on, the multiple povs become actually more interesting to read.

This book is currently really successful, with a ton of happy readers, so I just found this really funny.
