Lu Yang transmigrated into the Cultivation World and became a disciple of the Demon Sect, the Primordial Saint Sect.

Fortunately, he obtained the mysterious treasure 【Book of a Hundred Lifetimes】, which allowed him to restart a new lifetime after death, letting everything begin anew. He could even bring back treasures, cultivation, lifespan, and might even awaken special talents from his previous life.

However, the number of uses was limited; it did not grant true immortality.

As the Cultivation World was on the verge of chaotic times, Lü Yang had originally decided to lie low in the Demon Sect, cultivating painstakingly through one lifetime after another. He would not leave the mountain unless he achieved immortality. Yet, the Demon Sect was extraordinarily perilous, and talents were everywhere.

In the first lifetime, Lü Yang suffered a forced assault and was directly overexerted to death by his Senior Sister.

In the second lifetime, Lü Yang seized power from below and overexerted his Senior Sister to death, but still could not escape the deadly hands of his Senior Brother.

The third lifetime… The fourth lifetime…

Until after a hundred lifetimes, when he looked back, Lü Yang realized that he had already become a Great Overlord of the Demonic Path, the most beastly existence within the Primordial Saint Sect.

“The Demon Sect is truly full of talents, and they all speak so nicely.”

“I really love it here!” Collapse

Read the site rules and don’t engage in thoughtless spamming. yo_33

Moreover, the site already has RAW updates configured, and I dare say that our text is translated with the maximum depth of reasoning, so the MTL quality is far superior to Wtr-Lab.

Links in spoilers are only welcome if they benefit readers and the website.

So is it possible for me to change the terms in the MTL? If so how and be as detailed as possible.

This is like diamond covered in shit. It has a pretty bad beginning and a bad translation later on, but it’s actually a very interesting novel. I would say 1. if the author redid the beginning since it feels like he casually did the first tens of chapters and 2. if he found a proper translator to retranslate this it would easily be a possible 10/10. Sadly he’s in another country so I doubt he would care about us and the English translation compared to his original Chinese version, or else we would see an up and coming top level novel for years to come (if it keeps up this level and keeps being translated). Still has a possibility of being a top level novel if we see an improvement in the translation soon, it’s just new readers will need to go through those bad first tens of chapters. I rate it highly, just hope the translation doesn’t become worse

Struggling to Survive with Regression Power in the Primordial Saint Sect
    Review based on chapters 1–147
    Rating: 3.5/5

This novel begins with a familiar premise: a modern man is thrust into a brutal cultivation world with a golden finger, a time-looping system limited to just 100 attempts. Despite the high stakes, the early chapters feel crude, with the protagonist appearing wasteful and careless in his use of his golden finger. However, like clay molded under steady pressure, both the narrative and the mc gradually take more refined shape as the story progresses.

One of the most compelling aspects is the protagonist’s transformation. His change is not sudden but corrosive, like water slowly carving through stone until the original shape is unrecognizable. He starts with reckless improvisation but steadily evolves into a calculating figure, measuring every decision with precision. His cunning is born not of brilliance but of desperation sharpened by failure. He learns through humiliation, betrayal, and necessity. His low moral baseline becomes essential in a hostile environment waiting to devour him. This enables him to manipulate knowledge and power with cold efficiency.

Unlike A Regressor’s Tale of Cultivation (Go read that),
    Romance and relationship.

The novel’s comedic tone is a delight. It skillfully balances grim stakes with well needed humor. Readers will often find themselves laughing at Lu Yang's antics as he cons others, and other times gets outmaneuvered.

While the system may remind some readers of My Longevity Simulation (also go read that), and parallels can be drawn in how the protagonist utilizes his cheat, this story sets itself apart with a distinct plot and an unique (?) power system. You will comprehend what I mean as you read further.

If you are looking for a protagonist who is devious, shameless, scamming, cunning, and always thinking several steps ahead, this story is well worth your time.

I've read 69 chapters so far. As of now, all I can say is, even Fang Yuan hasn't scared me this much. Officially, this is my favorite novel. Evidently, it is morally ambiguous, so many may not like this book. However, if you're intrigued by evil protagonists, intelligent protagonists, and simply a protagonist that is capable of turning misfortune into fortune through sheer wits, and most importantly logical wits, then this masterpiece, might just be tailor-made for you!

If 69 chapters scared you than you are not ready for top class people that will show up after he build foundation. This guys are soo shameless that even if they can kill opponent with fart, they will first set a trap for them, than use full power attack just to make sure nothing goes wrong. And just to be safe, put 3-4 extra traps just in case person somehow survive.

I've read all the chapters of MTL, and so far I can say that it's a damn good novel.

The beginning is pretty boring and not encouraging. I would even say that the first 30 chapters look like it will be another trash novel without any hope for the future. Fortunately, after reading the comments, I didn't give up on it at that stage and continued reading, for which I am grateful. After chapter 50+ it gets much better, and the further you read, the better it gets.

If at first the MC is terribly stupid, then after that he begins to quickly adapt to that world and the mentality of the people there.

The MC quickly turns from a stupid nonentity into a skilled intriguer, his thinking progresses.

A pretty interesting cultivation system, although at first very unusual. The MC's path has not yet been determined, but he already has some direction, in principle the fights here are interesting, the characters are also not dead, everyone has their own personalities and ambitions.
Perhaps the only two things I have a complaint about are 1) the level of the world is too difficult. Here you are still a weak ant, and the giants of the cultivation world are already plotting against you. Without such deception as the MC, unless you have a master who is powerful and sincerely cares about you, it is simply unrealistic to rise here.... Even if you evade all the intrigues, a golden core will simply come to you and kill you like an ant... The shamelessness of powerful individuals in this universe is irritating.
    2) Because of the mentality of the cultivation world, you literally can't trust a single person here... What can I say, you can't even trust your own successful encounters. Here, even a stone on the road probably wants to use you for its own purposes. The morality in this world is simply at a record low.
This is somewhat annoying, since you understand that in this world you are not destined to have a single real friend or lover. It's pretty dark knowing that your whole life will be lonely, not because you want it to be, but because you have no choice. Trusting someone in this world = putting a knife in someone else's hands.

I put this novel on pause quite a while ago—I want to wait until it’s finished and then return to it. But at the point where I stopped, there was no romance.
And if nothing unexpected happens, there won’t be any. The author clearly has no intention of allowing things like “sincerity” to appear in the plot. The entire story is nothing but betrayal, conspiracies, selfishness, and ambition.
