      Novels that incessantly repeat info to make sure everyone is always on track just put me to sleep.

      Sure it better suits someone keeping up with episodic updates, but for anyone reading a novel the way it's normally read, it's a deal-breaker.

        That's why books are released as books, not as individual chapters. Words are harder to remember if it's just words. It's not a problem for stuff like manga or comics that come out weekly because there is images.
