That’s what happened to Jake Wilderth, a procrastinating young man without ambition. When a mysterious silver spaceship, popping out from nowhere, delivered to each Earthling a bracelet containing an AI introducing itself as the Oracle, their destiny changed.

From a boring uneventful life Jake began to strive for greatness, treading his Path over the dead bodies of many.

    This novel could have been compared with Supremacy Games, with a few things done differently.

    First of all, the main issue i think this novel has, is the info dumps. While it portrays that the author has an impressive bredth of knowledge, he tends to write info dumps after info dumps constantly. Many times the info are irrelevant and useless to the story as well. This unfortunately makes to novel a chore to read a lot of times.

    Also, there have been some plot holes during the novel but not making much of a issue on the story itself. But still there are plot holes there if you pay a little attention.

    Regardless, the main issue of this novel is the overflowing info dumps, which make it a chore to read. And honestly i think the story could be as good as SG with some alternations, but it is what it is.

    Also mind you, i've read only up to chapter 190, and the info dumps seem to become even worse these chapters and i really hope they will chill out soon.

    Will edit in the future as i read.

    I am at chapter 304 currently but their is something I’m confused about. Part way through the chapter it says:
    “(NB: Average human stats: 2.5 points (5pts when his bloodline was lvl 1 and 10pts when he was still human)” when he looks at his status.
    Does anyone know what the “NB” stands for?

    Probably one of the best novels I've read to date.
    The plot is good. The world-building is massive. The MC is smart plus serious. The Female lead(Which I believe is Ruby) is an astounding female character. Not like those goody two shoes who just sticks with the MC but rather a genius who stands independently.
    What I love about this novel is the 'Suspense'. It doesn't spoon feed the readers what happens next, but shows the world in the view of the MC.
    The only problem I noticed is the details. It was good at first but after several chapters it got annoying. The author sometimes strays away from the scene to explain the situation more thoroughly. But it's bearable if the reader isn't binge reading it.
    The pacing is slow by the way.
    Anyway, this novel is highly recommended.

    Stale and a few glaring flaw and repetitive line that made the story dry AF.

      I have to disagree. This story feels like it is written professionally. Not only that, the world building is phenomenal. The characters are acting believable and realistically. Not to mention the mc is kicking ass.

    The Oracle Paths is a fantastic apocalyptic Sci-Fi story. welldone
    - Starting few chapters may confuse you, but have faith in your fellow brother who is writing this review that you will find an absolute masterpiece!! wiseacre
    As long as you like novels, you need to read this one!!
    - World building may be an understatement considering the story is based around multiple universes.
    - If you like novels like Supremacy games, Lord of the Mysteries, Warlock of the Magus world etc., there is no need to waste time on this brother's review, you should just start reading this novel!
    - The power system is scientific and gets better as the plot goes on!
    - Author has such a good command over english language and grammar that some readers even had to google a few words to understand the tough Vocabulary.
    - The quality of this novel is highly based on Sci-Fi elements which is a major plus.
    - The logic is very well defined!
    - Even the animals are used beautifully.
    - You will never find any repeated troupes in this novel!
    - No Harem, Romance will be there but it's not the main focus.
    A minor spoiler -

    - MC, Jake is an average man who works at a VR retail shop in the year 2106. Orphaned at a young age, Jake goes about his days with repetitiveness until something drastically changes.
    - The novel rarely lingers on plot points to the point of excruciation like many novels tend to do.
    - The character building is quite intense and connects you to the characters in many different ways.
    - This unique novel is a construction of science fiction, wuxia/xianxia, and system story types. The unique construction of these ideas may seem an unlikely one, but a very well put together piece nonetheless. If you are a fan of any of these types of stories or just good world-building in general, I strongly recommend this novel to you.
    - Some who start to read may find features like "Shadow guide" etc. to be too OP and gamebreaking for any good novel. I can only say without spoiling anything that you will come to understand everything later!!
    - The MC is not a reincarnator and his character develops with the plot!

        Nope! MC is not OP. He develops himself so that he can become OP. Well author offhandedly mentions that Jake's name will shake the hearts of ______(The planet where he lives and it's coordinate system) in the future.
        I would say that you read it, cause I have read a ton of novels and I guarantee that this is a good one!

        I read some comments on webnovel, it says author is trying for a new novel and this one is dumped. God knows whether we will get more chapters!!
