    I'm guessing this is like the one piece of novels which basically get better around ch 200. Yes it pays off but man does it take a while. And depending on you preference it might not be worth it

      No, it doesn't 'get better' around 200, it's just that the volume 1 ends at chapter 200's and the climax is too good. For me personally i enjoyed the whole of 1st volume a lot, it has a ton of world building and mystery

        agreed the climax is just too good but after that it returns to the slow pace of the start of vol 1. IMO vol 3 is where it gets good. Gehrman Sparrow is just one heck of a character

      Boring? Brother this novel is one of the most interesting novels I've ever read. It's not hot-blooded but it keeps my interest even on a second and third read because it's so good, most cultivation I can hardly get through a first read. You just gotta be captivated by the plot of this, which takes effort if you're prejudice and don't give a genuine effort. cause the beginning is slow but after he joins his first beyonder group it's basically up from there

        I know that that is likely the case but the last time i read it i got bored after ch 70-80 or so meaing i stopt it maybe i will read in the future but that somewhat depends on luck, if i were to compare it it would be closet to how i did with Devils son in law( there i also read the first 60 ch found it very boring until about half a year ago i started reading it again and didnt stop and found it quite enjoyable ( i know it isnt the best but i find the later parts pretty good) maybe something like that will haben)

    Mmm.... I read up to chapter 100+(104 exactly), but I did tried my best and persist and continue, but I can't butwhy this novel is just not for me, its too boring sigh
    I don't care what others say, saying I need to persist up to chapter 200 or so, but if I don't enjoy it till start to finish(Especially the start), then its not for me. In my opinion this novel is..... Trash! puke

      I can totally understand, the whole suicide mystery in the beginning arc, being extremely slow and somewhat uninteresting if it doesn't hook you as it did for me. Thanks for trying it out though and I do hope later on you come back to read it, because doing that can help get you back into reading the novel and make it less slow/boring. I can guarantee that once the first arc ends, everything just opens up (slowly and quickly) that it actually grips you in the story, unable to pry your eyes away. welldone

      You didn’t get rain with dislikes simply because you said you didn’t like the novel. You called something loved by many trash. I mean, what did you expect? If you come with negative energy, that’s exactly what you’ll get. You said the novel wasn’t for you. Cool. I understand it’s not for everyone. You should’ve just left at that. But you go off and say " this novel is trash"? Like, how about sharing what is trash about it? Is it trash because it doesn’t fit your taste? Oh, so for something to be not be trash, it has to fit your personal preferences, right? Fk out of here and learn to have some respect for the work of others. This is a well written story without many plot holes. Not many novels are this well written. And if you know any other novels that you think are better written, kindly share them. I’d love to see them. Omniscient readers' view point isn’t really to my taste, but it is still a well written story, which is why I have enough respect for the author and the fans of that book to not go and call it trash.

      I understand that, as someone who's at around chapter 100 and although I quite like it, I can see how it's a bit boring for people who like action, but calling it trash is a bit too harsh don't ya think?
