It's trash, do not expect this story to be exciting. It's not even a good wish-fulfilment novel, there are far better novels out there. 3/10.

Dear friend, did you perhaps read the synopsis and your interest was piqued? Then I advise you to forget about this story completely. From the synopsis it looks like mc would have to fuse classes and deal with their whims, make them satisfied or dealing with increased difficulties. None of that ever happens.

Reading this story is like watching diamond turn into dung. The author is very, very lazy and only focused on wishfulfilment. The world building, characters, and even progression is very bare bones. Let's compare it with lotm for example. While lotm has chapters where we see side character's adventures, here there is very little of that. Unless it directly affects the plot or they are actively participating in it, a character is simply forgot and doesn't exist. The same happens with the world building, unless a place directly connect to the plot, they don't exist. we never hear even snippets of their existence, at most a name. Then there is the power system and progression. unless it pertains to classes mc is going to take then their requirements don't exist, we never even see anyone other than mc actually complete their requirements, even though they supposedly take a long time and can cause alot of commotion. For example one of mcs requirements was to build an organization with very strict laws that lasts half a year, no one has ever been written completing this requirement or anything similar including the mc.

Infact the most problematic part of this story is mc's progression. It completely handed to him. While in lotm rituals and material requirements are used to create interesting stories, in this story every requirement that is even remotely difficult, complex, and would take a long time is completely handwoven away by bs scenarios. Like the requirement above, either the classes lower the difficulty to a Tenth of the requirements or author gives the mc materials and situations that erase the requirements altogether. There is simply no tension. Also that whole Devouring gimmick is completely forgotten for the most part. It only happens very rarely, maybe 2-3 times, and the mc never tries to take advantage of it by learning about more classes of similar types. He also doesn't have to care about the whims of classes since he gets something early on that makes all classes lower their difficulties. Basically, there is no earned and satisfying progression to be found here from side characters or mc.

The mc's character is just as hopeless. The author started out by trying to make him unique and morally gray, but the execution was very lazy and generic. He is pretty much the same as every generic Chinese mc. Paranoid, vindictive, and generous. A model of Chinese morality, Unfortunately, that makes him boring. There is also no character progression to speak of. He is the same person, whether it's chapter 50 or chapter 230. No matter whether his senses change or he gains new knowledge.

In short, this story is a complete time waster that is equivalent to brain dead doom scrolling or eating mid junk food.
