I found myself enjoying this novel. I felt the humour, story development and character quality was of a very high quality. The world is vast, and we learn bit by bit about it as the character, brought into another world, also does. If you want a novel you can safely avoid overthinking, and just enjoy the purity of the humour in imaging the MC in humorous scenarios, whilst observing the MC's genuine growth, this is the novel for you.

I liked it enough until the MC left the Sect to experience the world, I just lost interest in reading immediately after(Ch.77)

I had a bit of cultivation fatigue when I started this Novel, and the Techniques, and Plot weren't unique enough or fleshed out well enough to combat that, I'll try it again when I have a heart for the great Dao.

Author's choice of word is very corny and vulgar as you go through the chapters..

It's very good; the aspect of "mastering" its techniques is quite different, which keeps the reader engaged and interested.

However, I think the "novelty" wears off after a while. I read up to chapter 104 here on ranobes, so I can say it declines a bit.

In short, it's good for the novelty, the breaking of clichés, and everything else, but the plot itself is quite "common."

I would easily recommend this read.

I wouldn't say very good, but the pacing is decent. There are more than a few parts that would have been better if the pacing were faster or slower.

For the most part it is the inconsistency, particularly with the "mastery" of the techniques.

There are cases where dozens of chapters go by with not a mention of them only for the next three to show them to skyrocket. The pacing for other aspects like character or story progression has the same problem, though I would say it is less inconsistent.

wooooh's very first awful review! *dramatic music*

To be honest, I have no idea what to think of "The Galgame Martial Saint." With a peculiar premise and a few humorous moments, I found the story to be somewhat entertaining. But there were also a few things that made me feel disappointed or even irritated.

First of all, the storyline lacked depth and complexity and was rather predictable. I mean, I understand that the main character is OP, but I couldn't help but feel that there wasn't enough world-building or character development. Additionally, the supporting cast lacked depth, which hindered the story's advancement.

The pacing was another element that I didn't find particularly appealing. There were moments when the narrative seemed to be going at a glacial pace, with extended periods of inactivity. Because of this, it was challenging for me to remain interested in the narrative, and I found myself skimming through some parts in order to get to the interesting parts.

Nonetheless, there were a few instances that truly caught my attention and made me laugh. I liked how the author was able to add some much-needed humor to the story, and the miscommunications between the main character and the supporting cast were frequently hilarious. The story was made more interesting and varied by the various points of view.

I would rate "The Galgame Martial Saint" a 6/10. Although I didn't particularly enjoy it, it wasn't a total failure either. This might be the story for you if you're in the mood for a fun, snack-filled adventure. You'll succeed if you don't expect too much depth or complexity!

I'm going to sign off, woooh!

A good novel I liked the author's creativity I would have liked to see more interaction between the characters, but I am satisfied with the novel because it is good.
