Somehow, I forced myself to read 7k chapters of this. I wouldn't say it's bad. It's mid. Masterfully crafted world building, very interesting factions. Well written factional politics. MC's relationships with different factions change over the course of the novel. No eternal enemies, only benefits. Pacing is glacial. Horrendously slow. But some people like it.

This novel has a major flaw that counterweights any other good points this novel has. The flaw is the characters. Artificially dumbed down, always make subpar choices, otherwise the plot would have to move faster. Worst of all are the characters themselves. MC has atrociously slow character development, but at least it's there. MC's wife though... This novel is not worth reading just because of her existence. Now, I'm not a mysoginist, nor am I a feminist. But I really question Exlor's(author's) tastes. I don't know if this pathetic joke of a relationship is his plot device to keep dragging the novel, or if he is projecting something. A younger mind would be radicalized into mysoginy just by reading this.

Exlor also has a fetish of introducing likeable characters and twisting them into unlikeable but irremovable baggage over the span of this novel. I can't deny that it is, in a way, realistic. As people in real life change over time, maybe for the better, maybe for worse. But in this novel, it's always for worse. There are a scant few characters left who are still likeable and that list is dwindling. And you're stuck with all of them because death is not a thing for any secondary characters. All that is tolerable, but the wife, the wife is a fiction of a scarred sado-masochistic mind.

I don't believe that someone who could build such an elaborate world cannot write smart characters. He just doesn't. Because smart characters are efficient. And that would make the story shorter. Upgraded intelligence and cognitive abilities equals faster data processing speed in this novel, not intellect.

You can count on one hand the moments where the plot peaks. And it's too low of a ratio for such a long novel. Overall, I regret wasting time on this novel and don't recommend it at all. I thought myself to be a patient and fairly tolerant guy that can persevere for a big payoff, but this slop proved me otherwise. I might have anger issues now.

This novel gives you 100x cortisol for however much dopamine it gives you. It keeps you engaged through ragebait and sunk cost fallacy. A waste of emotions.

Также автор не описывает персонажей! Я прочитал 350 глав и до сих пор не знаю, как выглядит главный герой!
Нет описаний зданий, городов или планет. Всё, что я знаю о родном мире главного героя, это то, что небо затянуто тучами круглый год.
Автор не утруждает себя описаниями ничего, за то без конца описывает устройство роботов, но каким-то странным образом. Вы можете прочитать целую главу о том, как устроен робот и ничего не поймёте. Автор буквально говорит: проложены трубы и провода к реактору.
Где проложены эти провода?
Где стоит реактор?
Как выглядит реактор или двигатель?
Провода проложены вдоль рук, ног или корпуса?
Ничего не понятно.
Я устал гадать и устал от тупости главного героя, который уверен, что является главным героем, поэтому позволяет себе рисковать жизнью без конца.
Отправляясь на самые рискованные миссии, он буквально чудом выживает и даже не боится этого.
Я представляю, как какой-нибудь инженер отправляется на войну, чтобы посмотреть, как воюют танки.
Короче роман никакущий.

Is the quality consistent? I see that it has over 7k chapters and I don’t want to see an amazing story become slop after the 5000th chapter.
