Imagine the Battletech universe but instead of greatness and so many cool and badass mechs we get a novel filled to the brim with Chinese bullshit and retardation and of course not to mention the author breaking the laws of physics and stuff like that and yeah the MC is pathetic so is his character growth and the same goes about others as well and expecting their romance to be anything better than absolute garbage is always too much in a Chinese novel oh and the filler is so much that he doesn't even improve his skills for 2000 chapter suffice to say I hated how this world of shitty elitists who feel so goddamn superior to everyone around then and contribute nothing what so ever not just to the story but also the universe and you would think that humanity would put aside their differences when they are facing an external threat that is the aliens, oh no let's create an impractical and flawed society based on easily destroyable mechs and their pilots who apparently need unique DNA so they can be pilots and let's treat them like indispensable nobility and let's practice gene splicing and (illegal) sciency stuff while our oh-so-great warships that are holding the aliens at bay be forgotten and never talked about while we fiddle around with our mechs
