This is a simple story, well told.

Tokyo Exorcism Diary doesn’t try to be groundbreaking....it delivers exactly what it promises: a mix of supernatural daily life, exorcism, and character-driven moments. The real strength lies in its cast. Side characters feel alive, with their own motives and personalities, making interactions genuinely engaging.

The MC can be a bit frustrating at times, and the combat system is fairly standard, but those aren’t the focus. The story shines in its consistency and character work.

Special mention to the translation...it’s exceptionally polished and elevates the entire reading experience.

There are imperfections. Certain aspects..such as tags that misrepresent the story’s focus or occasional moments where the protagonist’s personality grates..may pull some readers out of immersion. Yet these are not enough to diminish the overall experience.

Also, I think the school life tag should be removed since its pretty irrelevant in this story, apart from a few minor scenes.

Overall, an easy and enjoyable read if you go in "without expecting something revolutionary".
