Regulus Black. A tragic side character in the original tale, the "good son" of the Noble House of Black, and an early casualty of Voldemort's reign.

In 1961, his eyes fluttered open again, but a completely different soul now resided within.

Confronted by the suffocating chains of a pure-blood family, the impending darkness of Voldemort's rise, and a fate that seemed destined for the grave—he chose to raise his head and gaze at the starry sky.

Magic is the absolute power to rewrite reality. Why do wizards waste it on petty political games and greed?

Why is it that throughout thousands of years of magical history, no one ever dreamed of leaving this planet?

What Muggles can do, shouldn't wizards be able to conquer as well?

Lily: "He’s not like the other Slytherins."

Snape: "Wrong. He is a textbook Slytherin, and an absolute menace!"

Malfoy: "I see now… there was never just one path to choose."

Sirius: "My brother is a pure-blood madman!"

Voldemort: "That Black… his sheer talent is intoxicating. He must…"

Gemini Description:

History is written by the victors. But what do you do when your name is already etched into the lists of the dead?

While his older brother loudly burns bridges to chase the light, Regulus remains in the suffocating shadows of the rotting Black family tree. A storm is gathering.

The Dark Lord is calling, and ancient bloodlines are marching blindly to the slaughter for a mere illusion of power.

But the youngest Black refuses to play the game. He won’t be a pawn for the darkness, nor a martyr for the light.

Stripping magic down to its very atoms and bending the fabric of space itself, he seeks an absolute, terrifying power that transcends earthly politics.

What will become of someone whose gaze is fixed far beyond the starry sky? A savior, a monster, or something this world has never seen before... Collapse

I found a Chinese website where you can download a file in .txt.
Then I convert it to .docx format and upload it to Google Translate.
Two chapters are published there every day. As of today, there are 314 of them.

Not particularly good. Essentially a rip-off of the original classic fanfic "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality".

I really want to get into this novel but I think the apparent use of ai in the writing ruins it to a degree I can’t tolerate.

I think the original story is pretty trash, Harry isn't anything amazing, the villain is useless, losing to weak children.

And the director is another useless character, super powerful but unable to defeat the useless villain.

But the universe is interesting and I've already read 3 Harry Potter fanfics, two very good and a third that started very well but the jerk of an author threw Marvel and DC with time travel in the middle and it turned into a mess of mixtures in a blender.

Could anyone who has read it tell me the strong points?

I hope the MC gets really strong quickly and defeats Voldemort quickly and that the author expands the universe.

Don't you dare call it TRASH!!! J.k.Rowling brought such a magnificent magical universe into this world from her imagination... although harry isn't the most suitable MC, he's still harry that we know....as a 90's kid, harry potter universe and its every single characters is a precious memory for me....

As I said, the universe is incredible, very well created, extremely deep with amazing things.

As I mentioned, several fanfics have taken advantage of it very well.

But I think, in my personal opinion, the story and the characters are very bad.

Harry is nothing special, the great chosen one of destiny, bland.

The villain is excellent at manipulation, corrupting many people to his side, but the execution is sloppy.

A super powerful director who could have prevented all this many times, even before when the villain was still Tom, and become powerful, but let things happen.

And after things went wrong, he stood by doing nothing, hoping that a weak, predestined child would do something.

I think all of this is bad, and that's my taste; for others it may be incredible, and it's a matter of personal taste.

But her universe, the world she created, is extremely incredible.

Guess youve read too many fanfics which twisted your view of the story and its characters.

The "savior" here is not predestined. It's merely a coincidence and a result of the Horcrux. That the prophecy followed its course so seamlessly was because nobody doubted it or fought against it. From the moment Harry became horcrux the prophecy had been fulfilled to some extent. Even if all other horcruxes were destroyed or Voldemort died again, Harry would have a hand in the destruction of the last horcrux, which was himself.

There are many ways to interpret a prophecy.
Fate in this story parallels the time travel in 3rd book quite well. Both being vague, imprecise, and while you can fight against these forces, you can't change the core points, and will only find your actions completing the timeline, prophecy in new surprising ways you didn't anticipate.

Otherwise, Harry is a plain, relatable boy with flaws. Also, I didn't find Voldemort to be sloppy villain. Yes, perhaps flawed and full of weaknesses due to his pride, etc. Yet this is in line with his character and the influence of dark magic. As for other characters' and stories' imperfections, we can clearly assign them to characters' flaws as well.

Dumbledore clearly put his hope and confidence in the prophecy, which explains a lot. He clearly believed in setting up the final battle and treating Harry as a chess piece rather than risking his life to face Voldemort because he wouldnt succed according to the prophecy either way.

So either fight a losing battle against fate with the result out of your hands, or follow a preplanned path aligned with fate.

This is very much in line with his character. Shows many of his narcissistic compulsions and need for control, which he suffered the consequences of in his youth. Even becoming a renowned hero and principal did not change his character at the roots.

I'd say the universe part is what sucks in HP - hardly any of it: Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and the Diagon Alley is essentially all of the universe we get. Otherwise, Rowling did a damn good job of bringing magic to normies. Otherwise, not everyone can get through the slog of thousands of pages devoted to just discussions of the magic system of the world and assorted random mytholigies and lores.

"Harry Potter and the methods of rationality", obviously. That's the OG classical fanfic.

Synopsis: Petunia married an Oxford physics professor instead of that fat guy; Harry's annoying cousin was never born and Harry was brought up as the only and loved child... by intelligent people. Harry has brains. Voldemort too. Especialky fun if you played some D&D.

The chinese authors have a unique talent of taking a goo novel and turning it into the most bland thing ever. The MC is cardboard cutout and feels more like a computer than a human. The author made a fan fiction of harry potter by deleting everything good about that story.1/5

Does the mc here actually use magic to conquer space?
Because judging by the chapter titles and what I've read so far, it seems like he won't get past the school arc.
