For anyone thinking this will be similar to LOTM... It kinda is but isn't at the same time in my opinion.

In LOTM, it was a more mystic experience because Klein was a seer, something deeply connected to the spirits, fate, and such, while also uncovering the secrets of the world that the readers didn't know.

But here in COI, it is more action-based, as Lumian (this book's MC) is a Hunter, something more fighting-related while also making a team of people he trusts, also, the readers already know of the world's secrets, so it has to go on a diferent direction to make it entertaining.

yeah, it also has some mystery in it, but I feel it doesn't reach the level's of LOTM mystery.

But still, this is a great read and I greatly recommend it.

P.D: for the people that say Klein/Lumian is better... they both are extremely different, how can you compare these two?

I'll just say that they are great MCs in their own ways and that's it.

P.P.D: After reading chapter 875, I can fully say... this shit is f#cking PEAK.

To be brutally honest, as someone who hoards an entire arc before reading, this book 2 is indeed boring.
The revelation of first arc is the only peak of this novel(for now?).
The rest after that is good to just meh.
Definitely feels like a story of a side character.
And I realize why i feel that way is because like Supremacy Games, Primal Hunter or any novel with Gods holding the hand of the MC like he is a child is a real turn-off for me.
This MC? feels like a dog being lead around. (He is).
Another advantage of hoarding is you break off from the hype, like after the Tizamo town arc with almost 200 chapters to read, I don't feel starting reading again.
And when I start, my God that end of Morora arc was very dull.
Lotm started like this but gets better at the pirate arc, this one started amazing and going downhill.


rated 5/5 as a Lotm worshipper but now it's down to 4/5
But after that force i'll rate it down to 1/5 to balance the over-hype brainless rating.

Is this already coming to an end? When it's over, I'll start re-reading volume 1 and start reading volume 2 so I can get back to Klein faster.

Although it's boring, it'll do. 4 stars justifies.
