      most probably no, even if there was it's going to be released after a few years. Somewhere author mentioned he will write a different book and after that he might write book 3. Also he said he was bored of the world by now, as he knew everything about the world and it kind of doesn't interest him to write such stories. Even if there was a Book 3 its going to be of Western Continent nothing else. LoTM world building and overall mysteries are done at this point, there isn't much to explore i think.

        when we completed LOTM he then wrote Embers Ad Infinitum, then #COI

      Nope, this is a direct sequel to LOTM. Therefore, a lot of things mentioned in this novel are written with the expectation that the reader already knows these things.

      Yes and no. The first volume can be read without any knowledge from LoTM and also some subsequent volumes. But around Volume 5 and 6, its pretty essential that you read LoTM first for better experience.
