Before I go into my thoughts I think I wouldn't be as critical if this had a slice of life and drama tag attached to it. Because a lot of my gripes with this have to do with the endless drama stemming from whatever. It ruins the pacing of the novel, and takes up more word count than and adventuring or action. This novel reminds me more of endless path:infinite cosmos if you fellows are familiar with that. It does well to stretch out actual plot with family drama, harem drama, and r-18 scenes. Without realizing you can go 10-20 chapters without anything actually happening. But with the chapters being pretty short, if you're just scrolling you might not realize how little is actually happening. I'm only around 400 chapters in but I've peaked at more recent chapters and to no surprise it's entire chapters of drama or sex. The setting of the world is mildly interesting, but the actual world building is lacking, along with the inhabitants. What could've been a varied world with varying races (because high ranking beasts can turn human), different skin colors and cultures, what we have is a messily made world with white humans that might have Chinese names occasionally. There was some things I thought were okay but they don't bring this up from being anything more than a 4-6/10. It could get better in chapters I haven't gotten to but reading 400 chapters of this in a short amount of time has smoothed my brain so I'm taking a break. Ps I didn't take notes so what I said could be slightly inaccurate.

Does anyone know from a novel that Mc is from a family of murderers and he lives with his mother, only she goes somewhere but she leaves a book with him, so this one is being looked for by some people on a ship. Then he dies electrocuted when he was on the computer so he reincarnates on an island where he has 2 uncles

The novel started of strong it was a new concept in the cultivation novel genre ,it possessed the death note later renamed fallen Daynight, the Mc had an interesting backstory from earth prior to reincarnation , the overall world building was being well done.

However the author later discovers that the MC is to overpowered and tries to Nerf him and from then on the novel becomes trash.

The Mc could cultivate very fast by killing more often using the death note but Mc comes up with excuses all the time like , I need to stabilize by cultivation , I need to develop my other cultivation systems , I need to do other things other than cultivation.

The Mc becomes a hypocrite “I dont want to kill to improve cultivation Im a good person but does it anyway” .The novel never really take steps foward it becomes a novel of Mc interacting with harem members. In beginning Mc says he did not want polygamy but as the story progresses MC picks up up a new harem member as long they are good looking then says its love. The Mc almost committed incest for gods sake
