You are right fellow daoist the novel was honestly very hard to read in the beginning but I am glad I stick to it till now. It vastly improves later on with time.

I don't know about that, man. It's one of the first light novels I've started reading and it's getting hard to keep up with the late chapters. I dropped it at chapter 2k and some, and I don't know if I'll pick up from where I left it anytime soon.
It's just too much for me. Be it the writing style, the boredom, or the harem..., I just feel embarrassed when I read it for some reason.
And it's also the fact that I don't like Chinese-style light novels anymore, cultivation and whatnot. Though, I would gladly read one if the author was more creative and added something new to his novel.

Nope, clocking at chapter 3022 and there are still cringe parts in the novel, his interactions with his harem are very very cringe.

The only reason I still read this is because I like it when the author writes in a way to makes readers stay. Like how I am always anticipating the MC killing those irritating enemies, I want them dead so much.

I skipped all sex scenes and skimmed through most interactions with his wives because the cringe was just too much for me to handle. 😂

As a whole its still not good i managed to read past the beginning and even after that it was just normal good no where near amazing or very good, if i compare it to all the cultivation novels ive read (not even cultivation type novels which are very similar but cant be said to truly be ones) which are alot alot its still only (as a whole) a bit above average, only reason for that is because it had a redemtion later on. And that isnt enough to make it a top novel or even anything close to it the beginning in this case is 300 ch long even by my very fast reading speed thats still atleast 15-20h which is way more than a novel that can be considered good is allowed to have to still be in that catogory. Also saying that it becomes good or amazing after 300 ch is still (to me atleast( an insanly stupid thing to use as an Argument as to why peoples critic is wrong) (some novels are done by that time and they arent even realy short)even after reading it to 2,3k (dropped it at that) it still never was top tier

Without the harem it's not worth reading, trust me. And I'm not saying this because the harem is special or anything but because the novel has become disappointing for a long while now.
