The journey was a rough ride for Renegade Immortal, the beginning was horrid to read. As literally everyone and their mother was out for Wang Lin, it makes me question why Wang Lin even bothered to defend his planet when he was being chased by people or schemed by people. The novel gets infinitely better once he leaves his planet, and there are a lot of very emotional impacting moments. Sometimes it gets over redundant. Wang Lin is not a perfect character and he is not a strong character he is just a dude who is cultivating because he has an obsession with only one thing and if given the option he would choose to be a mortal than be a immortal. Anyways that said I loved this novel I’m off to read I Shall Seal the Heavens next, have a nice day.

This novel just isn't for me. I had a fun time with I Shall Seal the Heavens, but just as some others have mentioned, when it comes to Renegade Immortal, everyone and their mothers is after the MC. That's not even an exaggeration. The cliche of "how dare you look at me, let me call my ancestors" is also frustrating. I couldn't read past the first couple hundred chapters. If you can stomach the start, others have mentioned that it does get better. I don’t agree that it's a good strategy to take so long to get better. I think that's a problem with Er Gen's novels in general. Just that with ISSTH, the comedy and the characters' personality carries it through the first bit.

I’m reading on chapter 352, the novel is quite interesting, but there is one big and fat BUT, these are battles, they are so monotonous and everything completely depends on treasures, I really don’t like it, there are no combat techniques, the whole battle between people is based on who has more treasure, and better quality, the battle is completely dependent on external factors, then why cultivate at all? Just to live longer and activate the treasure, where are the results of their many years of cultivation efforts? Oh, this novel leaves mixed feelings. Let's start with the fact that this is a very good novel, the author wrote it amazingly. You know, it was very interesting and fascinating for me to read this novel, and although at higher levels of improvement the transition between the spheres was 100+ chapters, the mc still became stronger and it was not boring, just for a turn, this novel does not make you skip a bunch of chapters to make you interested, for me it's quite- still important. One of the main disadvantages of this the novel, as for me, is the romance and suffering of the mc, which are described in great detail throughout the novel. I'm not saying that it's bad when there's drama, no, but when for 2000+ chapters, the author constantly writes the same thing related to sadness and sadness mc, it doesn't convey the feelings of sadness or sadness that you should feel, it's annoying, so annoying closer to the 1800 chapter that just it is disgusting to read about the forced suffering of the mc, or rather, no, his suffering is not forced, but the author can write something related to printing, loneliness and sadness of the mc almost every 10 chapters, personally it began to irritate me wildly in the end. For me, such things can be once in 100 chapters, but no more, because if there are more such things, you don't start to regret the hero, but rather you start to get annoyed because of the author. A truly heartfelt novel. I thought I would write more after I finish it but after finishing I am f#cking empty...

This novel just had way too much suffering in it for me. The MC was a constant underdog being bullied by those stronger than him. It got to the point where I was just trying to predict where the next roadblock/issue would come from because you can be guaranteed that one would come and mess up Wang Lin's cultivation.

I read 440-ish chapters. I should have stopped way earlier but there was such a good base for the novel and I thought that eventually the author would stop with the suffering arcs but they didn't. It felt like Wang Lin was constantly losing even as he grew stronger.

The translation changes for some chapters in 200s. No worry though, it soon goes back.
