I just finished this, honestly there are some points that might cause some readers to drop the novel along the way (like the mc’s character early on, the power surges, or the bad translation later on), but since I’ve read all of this authors other finished novels and loved them, I persevered, and I’m glad I did. We see all of the mc’s from the authors other novels, and while they don’t show up often (other than Wang Lin), it was definitely nice to see them. I feel that if you want closure for this main ‘ring’ that was the setting for all the other completed novels this author made, you should definitely read this. People who haven’t read the other novels might not like it or feel the urge to finish the novel as much, but I still recommend it since it’s an Er Gen novel and it’s better than most cultivation novels. Anyway, the story only gets better as the translation gets worse, so you should follow the steps I said in the comment I did earlier, and for whatever chapters you can’t find translated, read the mtl at least because the ending is worth it imo.

While this novel wasn’t as great as this authors other novels at times, it’s still a great book overall, and I’m saddened by the fact I’m now done with all this authors completed novels. I’m slowly feeling less interest in novels nowadays because I’ve read so many by now, but at least this author is still making another novel. See you all next time (hopefully)

Also, in my opinion, the story only gets better after chapter 917. I mean before then, I occasionally took breaks in reading because there were boring parts, but after that part, the story started becoming interesting. So I’d recommend continuing reading even if you are considering dropping the book at that point. I’ll do a review on the story after finishing

8/10 only because atlas studios f#cking ruins novels with their shit translation. After 1k they get lazy & can't even keep genders or names straight.
