    This is so bad and illogial it feels ai generated.
    Noone in this world ever headed of a drama response...
    Like seriously the amount of plotholes is insane.
    Every chapter makes even less sense. The memory thing with somehow no communication between cities, memories of magic girls being related to resentment? the department not being able to catch some children him not hearing anything about media and asking about clarification after years etc etc. It's insane how this world even just took madoka magical girl and still makes no sense.

          i agree with you on the plot-holes/it not making sense - but i genuinely think from chapter 1 the absurdism is the point. "blue rainbow lightning" or whatever it was for example, if its a rainbow, how is it blue? i feel this is just satire/self-insertion/power fantasy so when i think it like that, "it isnt bad" i mean you could say its bad enough that it becomes hilarious to me

            I mean the blue rainbow is most likely a Translation quirk more than anything. so wouldn't give to much about this.
            but yea if you can suspend your disbelieve there this novel has some good aspects.
            it just isn't for me cause believable world building is the most important part of a good novel even if its totally crazy.

    Chapter 41 "review": there are many things to criticize about the MC, but very few about the novel. It is honestly pretty good.
    The side characters have complete personalities, the plot has been advancing at a reasonable speed and without anything outlandish happening, the MC is problematic but the author doesn't try to defend him... Chapters feel long (in a good way). Yeah. Worth your time, and I think it might be technically the best novel among those I started reading recently — better than Soul of Negary, which is usually praised to high heavens but wasn't as accomplished.

    Chapter 45 is 10/10.

    One thing that bothers me is


    Oh, and I recommend the MTL. Translated chapters sometimes have repeated paragraphs, missing text, or change the characters' names seemingly at random.

    You're in for a delightful experience starting from chapter ~128.
    The novel only gets better and better.

    Chapter 176 starts a mini-arc where the author went astray.

        Sure, then explain how people don't learn about it from the internet; from private messages; from calling family members; from advertisement; from any trip to other cities :)
        It's not like cities are isolated and locked down, and the memories aren't erased automatically — personnel need to go up to the people to erase their memories. It's simply impossible to keep this a secret from a whole city.

              Stated later on that magical girls can themselves erase memories and probably mass amounts of memories as well it’s an out of sight out of mind explanation thinking too deep into this will next make you want to know why there isn’t chapters explaining how the main character stopped a f#cking truck when he was hit by one in a non magic world

                I am up-to-date with the novel in RAW, and you misremembered that information, as "magical girls" in general cannot do that even to a single person, least of all en masse. It is mentioned very early on how the twins are special because magical girls being able to alter perception is extremely rare, and even they cannot erase memories as far as I remember.
                Furthermore, let's not forget that magical girls
                , and there is even a mobile game about them — who are treated as celebrities and have their feats known. Besides, all I said previously remains valid even if what you said were true: erased memories would do little when information is everywhere online and in their TVs.
                Last but not least: the MC did not stop a truck, he redirected a small truck by a tiny amount, in a very narrow space, by using his body as a wedge — after it had already crashed through a wall and been slowed down further by another obstacle.

                I have yet to find any internal inconsistency in this novel besides the implausible city-wide ignorance, and the lack of magical girls for years of the MC's life. And lack of Witch/Disaster Beast activity in the city he lived. … scrap the entire first few chapters of the novel until he gains a seed, at least. You made me rethink my previous rating and lower it a bit.

    So . . . the MC has apparently tried all the cultivation methods he could think of to get stronger, but her never once considered 'Dual Cultivation.'

    I'm only on chapter 23, so who knows if that changes, but I feel like the author thinks the only way to avoid the 'harem' route is to make it do 'Dual Cultivation' doesn't exist.

    Truly, I haven’t tasted something like this in quite some time. Probably since I read that MHA fanfic Just Desserts. This novel is a patchwork of many different anime all wrapped up in the confident stride of a man much like myself who wants to pursue the heavenly dao despite being mortal! Ah, truly a wonderful reflection of what I could be.

    But enough wistfulness, it’s truly not bad, and honestly its quite good, its not junk food, but not particularly a five course meal. Perhaps… A good bowl of ramen noodles on a cold night.

    To some it may be unbearable, but to those who like Magical Girl shows it’s actually not much different from watching one, the Author truly wrote it well.
