Honestly, it was great. I read the whole thing and rated it as 7.5/10.

It's a pretty sweet slice of life story, taking place in Stardew Valley 1.6+ and
    .
It's basically just following a regular playthrough while delving into the world building even deeper, especially in the fantasy and magic aspect of it.
If you want a good slice of life story with nice romance then this is for you.

However, I do have to say the quality drops around maybe the last 200-300 chapters, around when MC enters the
, and the ending is pretty abrupt as it hasn't even reach Fall of Year 1 (although a lot of the events in the game still happens) and crucially the Ginger Island stuff. Pretty disappointing ngl but I guess the author must have burnt out trying to write a fanfic of a SV playthrough lol and just decided to end it.

Despite this, it's still a good read especially if you love Stardew Valley.

    Genre Classification: Slice of Life
    Sub-Genre: Harem/Fan-fiction
    Rating: Exceptional

    (Trash -> Slop -> Mid -> Good -> Exceptional -> Masterpiece)

Before starting my review, I just want to state that I'm not good at English so expect a lot of grammar mistakes in this review.

I myself am a degenerate Power fantasy fan, yet I read through the whole book in a matter of 4 days despite this being a Slice of life novel. Think of this what you will.
Honestly, before reading this novel, I had the impression that this was just a plain recreation of Stardew Valley from a enthusiastic gamer, with only the game mechanics being the main focus and the rest being ignored (character interactions, world development,...). This is a common occurrence with the majority of fan-fiction novels.

But this novel is not one of those cases, I can assure you that. Here's why:
+ Writing quality (5 Stars): The author skills really speak for themself, there's no braindead 1st person narration from the start-end that you would often see from Webnovel's novels. There are also no obvious attempts at extending the chapter length with unnecessary paragraph repetitions just for the sake of milking the novel dry. I'm kinda amazed that the writing quality remained consistent for 900 chapters straight without seeing a dip.
+ Story Development/Worldbackground (4 Stars): Since this novel is based on Stardew Valley, the author doesn't need to do the hard work of figuring out and constructing an original plot, he could just take it from the base game. The author did add in a substantial amount of his own content to keep things fresh, so this will still be enjoyable to read whether you have or haven't played the base game.

+ Character Development (5 Stars): Probably the reason why I read the whole book, the characters are like-life, the author not only did a really good job of portraying the base game characters for what they are but also assimilating newer original characters into the story without a creating a conflict or annoyance to the readers. I can guarantee that you won't see any rigid, 2D like interactions between characters during any part of the story.
+ Lets talk about the main character(Leon): I genuinely think this is the best MC you could ask for in a slice of Life novel, he's a handsome, kind, competent and charismatic guy (I totally don't feel gay while typing this out....). And this is not the most outstanding thing tho, it is the fact that the author can introduce roadblocks/obstacles consistently throughout the novel that the MC has to face without forcibly knocking him down a peg or frustrate the readers just for the sake of not making the novel stale. This does not mean that the novel will be a plain boring 1 man Power fantasy show, it revolves around the MC interacting with the other characters in the game through his daily farming life, him learning about the subtle yet astonishing differences between the game and the reality he lives in and also his 3 'love interests'

+ About the Harem: I classify this novel with 'Harem' as its sub-genre because the romance section of the Novel only starts to transition from flirting/baiting to harem around chapter 350-450 (I can't remember clearly), after Abigail confessed to the MC. Before that, the romance of the novel stayed at the 'Harem-bait' level as I called it, this just means there are lot of romantic events surrounding the MC and other girls in the village but there are actually no confessions or declarations of a real relationship. I'd rather prefer the author keep the novel at the 'Harem bait' level even after the Abigail confessed, hell, just don't write all of this confession shit. You have to understand that for novels that mostly follow Earth logic, harem won't end well whether its for the guy or the girls. You can see this clearly in the later chapters, this is my only criticism for this novel, because unless you got some godly level of writing skills, it won't make sense nor will it fool the majority of readers
.This is just a minor annoyance during the last 300 chapters of the novel, the MC still ends up living harmonious with his 3 wives. Rest assured, this won't be a deal breaker for anyone who love/hate harem (Unless you are on the extreme of both ends) since the Author's main goal of heading towards harem is to create friction and content for the later stages of the novel, not to infuriate readers to death.

In conclusion, this is an exceptional novel of the Slice of life genre, definitely recommended even if you don't know crap about Stardew Valley. Also, if you have made it this far, I sincerely thank you for spending your precious time of the day to read this review as this is my first time writing a review after 4-5 years of reading countless webnovels. Alright, have a great day and happy reading!

Damn, that's 2 Stardew Valley fics I've seen in the last week! Don't know why you would want to read this one though since it just seems like a persons Playthrough and it's much more entertaining to play the game. The other one I saw actually had an interesting gimmick to it in that it's set in the world of Pokemon. It's called "Pokémon But Stardew Valley" (I know, very imaginative name) over on Webnovel in anybody wants to check it out. I mean, I've only read once chapter so far but it's still an interesting premise.
