A Regressor’s Tale of Cultivation회귀수선전

This story is as beautiful as it is exciting and emotional, the author managed to really encapsulate all that beggets a human being onto the MC, an MC that feels incredibly human in his decitions, his actions and thoughts. He's just a good man trapped in a mad world of immortals and gods, trying his best to survive and overcome the madness that is constantly being thrown at him.
This is one of those stories that you'll remember and revisit years after first reading it. Truly a worth-reading piece of literature.

I'm on chapter 44 and all I have to say is that this novel is laced with endless sadness, loneliness and dispair.(in the good way)

Yes, this novel is indeed glazed by us fanboys. As it is deserved, it has some of the best world building, the best characters, the best plot you will read. This is not your regular cultivation novel, where the MC just gains power ups, just crashes through realms and beating every opponent. This novel isn't glazed for no reason. Every minor detail this novel has is as beautifully engraved into the story and used later on, as well as lotm did. It has a philosophy direct opposite of Fang Yuan, that instead of making life meaningless without immortality fills it with connections. The author has taken more time to just read and gather knowledge for the cultivation realms which alone makes your time worthy of reading. For some reason readers have just been overlooking these things, terming them as meaningless and useless filler. "Accumulation through dust" is the best way to explain the story and its meaning I believe. Things that feel like filler are only revealed to be not as the MC gets more and more strength. So when you skip these "filler" thinking it is all just jargon, you just won't experience the enjoyment that those who have read done. That is fine, it just wasn't a great read for you. Like Seo said, "Life is... life", so I would say to my fellow readers to stop paying attention to people like "RIisthegoat" who just come here to rage-bait. Lets just enjoy the story.
And for those who want to read the story here are some criticisms of the story:
The romance of the novel in the ch200 chapters is not good, some could even say it's just shit, the author was experimenting. Yes, he improves greatly, the romance right now, it's just peak. Marvelous how "Tremendous" has improved over the chapters.
The MC is inherently human, you should never expect the same scheming as Fang Yuan. This is not Reverend Insanity.
That is all I have to stay, from now on I will refrain from countering those who come to show criticism to this novel, regardless of how much fake they are. For me, who has read over 150+ webnovels and a decent chunk of traditional literature, this is one of the peaks.

Одна из лучшиз работ в жанре китайских культиваторов, если вы фанат жанра и это не первый ваш роман сянся, то прочитать точно стоит.
Особенно понравилось, что герой не скатывается в безумную резню и лицимерие, что очень редко для данного жанра.
Также, очень хорошо прописано развитие героя, оно действительно очень постепенное, и из-за отсутствия у героя Мэри Сью пакета с роялями - читать интересно.
В общем, мне очень понравилось, но часть, где главный герой на уровне квази бессмертного уже не так интересна, хотя при этом в ней раскрывается большинство загадок и выстреливают все повешанные ружья.

After getting to reading 440 chapters in a binge. I feel like I am too tired from constantly reading about these tragedies and people not remaining the same through regressions. And so I feel like I should take a break from reading this. I like this story but the angst is too much.

After reading the novel to chapter 450, I can say that you all are fools.
He aint' in a "world" of cultivation, he NEVER had the option of a normal route or even of any type of "pedantic" BS.
He is a puppet, who grew almost strong enough to move one of the strings he is being held by.
He is on a puppet show, where all his life is just a scene to be watched by higher beings.
The ONLY thing that he has of his own are his Heart, MAYBE his sword, and, with a LONG stretch, his emotions.
All he does the entire novel is grows stronger, hiding his true intent under so many layers of pain, that even Heart are running away from him.
And if you thought that he is just soft or that author is just using Mary Sue to push on the story...
Think again, but now, make the novel into an actual world.

This is a novel about a dude from earth meeting the equivalent of SCP 3125, surviving the encounter and even keeping his "sanity" in a form, that he can still remember his name.
He is the most bad ahh character I've ever read about. And if you don't like that he has emotions, I suggest you go back to reading Asura and Spatial Farm.

The main character just doesn't learn anything and he is a massive wussy.
I loved this novel in the beginning 200 or so chapters. I even cried a lot reading his truly difficult moments but now this novel is just tiring. MC doesn't seem to learn anything, side characters aren't even two dimensional they're just to show that the MC has any reason to live because if they die than he doesn't have anything else pushing him to live either. I also have issues with those long lived randos... they are too emotional without any brains. Afterall having lived like 100,000 years they should be like epitome of emotional control and only show what they want to show and not get angry with a person who can kill 20 of the same level cultivator with a single move. And MC calling senior or hyung to those who are 150,000 yrs younger than him is getting tiring too. Only with a little bit of brain is in the snake scorpion bastard but I don't like him. Well I'm done with my rant and still recommend to try this novel. Thank you.
