It's crazy how many racist novels one can find on Chinese novel websites, I checked many Chinese Novel websites but all of them have many racist novels why the heck there are so many, It's a pity I like Chinese novels but many of them contain racism and xenophobia. I understand there are bad people in every country but the amount of Chinese novels that contain racism and xenophobia is crazy, I think if we put all the racist and xenophobic novels of the world together it would still is not as many as the Chinese ones.

Story Development: 5
Its quit slow and has good buildup, also it doesnt have that thing like one arc finishes when mc gets into a new higher world. Its all the same world, same plot different situation. It gives a new taste to the whole thing.
Writing Quality: 5
I read in english, and the translator was really talented. I even learnt some new words, and the terms used arent cringy. Also, every word/title written, especially the volume and chapter names has a meaning
World Background: 5
One of the most unique world and power systems I've ever seen. Lots of ppl dont have as much imagination. Its extremely constricted yet quite diverse at the same time.
Character Design: 5
Most characters are quite intelligent including mc. The world itself is made such that a dumb person cannot survive long. And we have a good ratio between number of male and female characters and no one is dumbly romantic and stuff.... its quite refreshing.

Everything is just so good in this novel. I even put my profile as The Fool's symbol.

I think I've read enough to put a review (700+ chapter after I stopped weeks ago) and I will state why I stopped reading.


First, I really have high expectations to this story since it's arguably the no.1 novel in ranobes/webnovel. I am very excited about the prospect of worldbuilding, the introduction of power scaling and the rumored intelligent MC, Klein. Everything seems to be a newly fleshed out concept for me. And yes the author did not a let me down, the world is vast and great, I barely found any fault and inconsistency. The MC is funny and was able to utilize all his capabilities, I must say he's very competent. BUT, honestly the information dumping is really overwhelming. For someone like me who is a casual reader, guys like me will definitely feel it's a chore to read this story in the first hundreds or so chapter.

Second, the MC is great and funny. The interactions are not awkward and forced you can feel the conversation flowing smoothly. However, sometimes the interactions are too long for my taste. But it's great nonetheless.

Third, well I stopped reading, why? Idk as well. The story was great not gonna lie. The sequence and other stuffs are damn interesting. Everything seems to be perfect. But I couldn't help but to feel something is missing in the story? The fact that it was already perfect yet something is still missing is rather contradictory BUT that's what I felt. And this day I finally figured it out. The novel is perfect yet there's no resonance between me and the novel. It feels like I'm not part of the journey (technically I wasn't) but there's no sense of "oh I watched this MC's growth and I'm so proud of him, I feel like I'm part of his story as a reader as well!" There are times I would binge read it to re-establish the sense of immersion but often found myself out of place all of a sudden (?) It's as if the story wasn't meant to be for me. I think every readers out there experienced this particular feeling at least once.

Anyways the novel is great, a masterpiece indeed. Unfortunately, this story wasn't meant for me just like 'First Order' novel that is also rumored as top tier (I read like 500+ chapter of that before stopping) so, this is probably my last attempt reading this novel. Thankyou for the great times Klein.
