    Let's see 1st 50_100 chapters will make you drop this novel about 3_5 times
    So after this you have to read other novels...so i can suggest you to read "Dark Tower, Reverend Insanity".... after complete reading this 2 novel you can follow Q#7.

    7.Tell me about mc> One word "always lacking something" (Willpower, mentally, perception, cognition, ambition, execution, maturity list goes on)

    8.What about translation> 1st 700+ translation is very good then quality drops after 850+

    I resent reading this novel, its synopsis is very unattractive, comments that, from my point of view, are extreme, VERY EXTREME, some worship this work while others do the opposite.

    I always go after the wikis of the novels I'm hesitant to read (I know this leads to a huge rush of story info), but this was the first time I've been so frustrated with the comments, synopsis, and wiki. The wiki simply made me angry, an absurd amount of information, with a crude form of explanation, a whole new confusing world that the author insisted on explaining the smallest details, creating terms that make everything more confusing, a wiki where you only are able to understand the least if you have read the novel.

    Where has this been seen? It's the first time I've seen a wiki, commentary and synopsis that together cause this fear of reading.

    Someone help me, I don't know if I should read it or not. If you're really going to help me and give me real reasons to read, don't try to deify a work.

      you do know that wiki is literally bits and pieces of the novels, yeah? of course it can't be too detailed as the very reason of its existence is a kind of cheat sheet, and most of the time it's not made by the author himself. i recommend you to stay away from wiki, cause there's a big amount of spoilers, which in my opinion will take away the novelty of what you'll be reading.

      i usually didn't even read synopsis, cause there's not many good ones. I'll be looking at the ratings, genres, and comments. i read wikis when i'm already reading but didn't understand some things, or forgot small things like realms, techniques, arts, arcs, characters, etc.

      you don't need to lose your head off of these, yakno you can always read something else and back here again after some time. the more stories you read, the more this one will shine imo

      I don't know your personal tastes so maybe you'll love it, while I hated it, but I can guarantee that you'll get to chapter 50 which has already taken a lot of your life, completely confused and lost about what the story is, and if you want to understand You're going to have to do a study and write down everything in the mess that this story is. Even while I was reading, several of the questions I had and information that I found conflicting, I asked in the comments where I read it and I didn't get an answer for the most part or the supposed fan of the work didn't know how to answer either.

    Now after 1240 chapters i can say i wasted my time reading this... let's go.
    1* 200 chapters are missing and I don't see how the author can finish the work with quality at the moment I am.
    2* translation is not good, editing is not good, come on we don't even have a "*****" when the point of view changes.
    3* Klein has no goal, he just wants to go back home but he doesn't have a wife, kids, we don't even know his parents' names. 1200 chapters the author has failed to convince me why he wants to come back.
    4* the author does not know how to deal with the feelings of the characters (friend dies? klein does not show sadness or is in mourning for just a few minutes) treats Fors, one of his allies with disdain, arrogance
    and still intimidation for no reason.
    5* The world building that is said to be good is only appealing most of the time because of the fantasy (cities like backlund, suits and top hats, witches, clowns and magic) this kind of thing pleases but the work of organizing the information is poor. The work is ending and it is very difficult to say which were the empires, where is each territory, the resistance, objectives, location of the churches, the vision of the war, you need to read the work several times, make notes, research or find spoilers, maps on the wiki to have a clear view of the world, that is to do the author's work.
    6* and finally no, the story doesn't start to speed up and be good after 60~150 chapters, it will improve there by chapter 700, before that it could reduce about 40% just in bullshit like Klein being transphobic and focus on really important things.

        This wouldn't get 3 stars if the people who dropped it put their rating. tbate has a much superior writing, Shadow Slave has much better fights and Mc development, the first investigative case of divine hunter beats any lotm plot, monster is much more complex and organized, among others like RI that I don't even need to comment. sigh

        No, lotm is just bad. The problem is that just putting some people with top hats and suits in a romanticized environment makes readers think they are intelligent and ignore all the problems the novel has. If you really read it, go back to the chapter where Klein has his soul torn apart and goes crazy, besides it doesn't make sense that he doesn't lose control and still manages to fight, the author keeps reminding each paragraph that "Klein 'did it' wearing a suit and top hat " like an idiot who never studied about being redundant at school...it's obvious he's wearing a suit and top hat, he wears that throughout the entire book and I don't need to be reminded of that 10 times per chapter in the same fight. The beginning of the work is super slow and the ending was written with my ass.

    Since anime announcement there is increase in people who want to read novel , For new readers this may seems like really boring for 50-60 chapters keep reading it. I know it feel like nothing's happening take your time I read 10 chapter/day rule. You will realised it is for you or not? And it's not likes it's badly written world building alone will put all isekai into shame including those that considered the best.

      the beginning is a tough read for some since it isnt as action packed, but for me, it got interesting somewhere around chapter 78 for me
