A story about characters. It means characters are great... but there is no world, only characters.
It is a good story, but it is not standard.
What's more... it is longer then it probably should be, but it is also missing some parts, that are not important for the plot, but perhaps be more valuable then that.

It is somewhat similar to "" what is somehow a spoiler of itself. But that just how specific connection is.

In short, it is much more valuable then average web novel, Because at the very least it is unique.

MTL is surpassingly readable, to the point it more or less equivalent to the proper translation here.
It is partly due to style of writing. Partly due ai being better now, I suppose.
Of course names still in disarray, and you will learn around ~15 Chinese words!

Just completed the novel.
I would say the plot is solid. Suggest you read up to 100+ then quit if not to your liking
There are some unexplained points but it’s trivial.
Author always tried to fix plot holes along the way.
A little drag on ending arc, and less on Mc act. Also little confusing.
And Mc is god-tier of best strategist/manipulator I’ve even known among many novels I have read.

I’ve read mtl version after ran out of translated version, it’s good just Zodiac name would be directly translated like Di Gou / Tian Long ( Di =(territorial / Tian = Heaven)
for animal name if I remember correctly >

As of Chapter 40, this is a worse version of Alice in Borderland. Way worse. Not worth your time, go read the "original".

Just finished it. Honestly the premise was much better than the execution. The whole concept is very interesting as well as the mysteries, but the idea of the various games is just out of place with the broader premise. It was a mistake to add trap based games etc into the mix imo.

This novel has serious issues with pacing. It keeps setting up new mysteries without any pay off at all for a long time. For a good mystery to work there has to be a sense of momentary release once in a while. The author has a story mapped out in their head, but only half of it comes out in the writing.

Holy f#cking shit this is so f#cking good 😭 In the past two weeks I binged chapter 490 to chapter 1358 and it has me crying the authors final remarks about them feeling trapped damn all I can say is give this a chance if this ain’t for you then don’t read a chapter longer this novel will find its way to those who need it most through Causality and Karma 10/10

#panic# MTL 491 to 529 has been a repeat of the same two chapters over and over again to the point where I see Soul Contract and I want to curl up in a corner and cry

Edit: Chapters are incomplete as well such as 617 which cuts off

Edit 2: I’m on chapter 644 and this shit is actually unreadable at least half of these chapters have been cut in half even one had three f#cking paragraphs before ending this entire MTL will need to be replaced by RAWS then retranslated before it can even be seen by mortal eyes holy shit
