    This is what you call a peak hypocrisy novel. Anything complain you read about other novels applies to this one.
    1) have problems with Harem ? This novel has one.
    2) Has problem with system who gives shit for no apparent reason and spoon feeds mc ? This novel has it.
    3) One dimensional side characters whose whole character could be defined in one line ? This novel has them too.
    4)People from higher realm appears like cabages or like bamboo shoots after rain just as mc becomes stronger ? Yeah this novel has it too.

    Basically this is what every novel with bad rating has other than just one thing. Mc isn't weakened by anything and author don't care abt anything. This is what you call embracing the shit and coming out gold.

    I don't like this novel. This is honestly literally just a rinse n repeat cultivation novel without anything that you might like about cultivation novel.

    But hey , it has comedy and some bs so obviously everyone will rate it highly and say how it's a top tier novel.

    Like guys at least be a Lil less hypocrite.

      But what's with trying to insult others for liking it? Do you need to do this to validate your own opinions? Do you feel insecure because many people liked something you did not?

      Personally it's more like a Saitama story. The MC is not actually the point of the plot, it's just that the actual important people are those around him. In One Punch Man, Saitama doesn't actually go through any troubles, inner conflict, or anything of the sort - the actual growth and story is placed in the hands of people like Genos, Sonic, and Fubuki who must learn to overcome adversity and be better for it.

      It is the same for this novel. MC is not actually the point, it's those around him. Of course, this novel is not nearly as good as One Punch Man, but the plot type is the same, and the criticism about MC not doing anything is not really valid as it's not the point in the first place.

        Just checked the Novel Update site, there was no Fanfiction tag there. I think this tag is there because the Author uses famous MCs name for some of his side characters which have good destiny to show they are protagonist material. I am not really sure though, since I am really not knowledgeable about famous MCs since I seldom read Chinese novels. But I think this is the case.

    This is among the one of the best novels here welldone . Start was little generic but after that it was gold till the end. The more you read(past tense) the generic cultivation novels the more you will like it ethsky anyway even if you don’t love it you will like it.         Are you having problems with your head? Or do you consider practicing diligently for thousands of years to do nothing diligently? Where does he despise those who fight for opportunity?
