    This books main character reminds me a lot of the book "Catch 22". One of the funniest stuff I have read and have great laughs would highly recommend after ryou have read a lot of these kinda books and know the tropes

    Why? because this novel show the right and correct path of cultivation of which talented MC should take. After you read this, maybe you will get brainwashed and think that other cultivation novel MC that don't take similar approach like Hanjue(this MC) is stupid.

      You're not wrong at all. I read Martial World after reading this novel the first time I completed it.

      I enjoyed it less than I enjoyed NSHBA (that trash, yes). I was surprised because it's an okay novel on a normal xianxia adventure.

    Unpopular opinion but I feel that the last 50+ chapters are just dragged out with nothing else to show for. It's just a recycled mess with no direction. Even the final 'supposed' villain that have been foreshadowed for so long was nothing. This should've ended after he became invincible.

    Also, author seems to hate romance but still ended it with MC having a harem while his sons/daughters except one (or two, han huang's son) not having descendants of their own for all eternity. Not to mention most of his disciples and heaven's chosen descendants.

    There's even one where the author spent a few chapters to develop a couple only to separate them. They met again but nothing happened anymore and was written in passing with only one or two sentences.

    All in all, it's an enjoyable read for what it's worth.
